Chapter 41

Peeta's POV

I am at the bottom of our stairs waiting for Katniss to come down. I soon hear clicks on the title and I know she is ready.

What did I do to deserve her?

"LOOK, THIS DRESS HAS POCKETS NOW I DON'T HAVE TO CARRY A CLUTCH. I'M FEELING SO BLESSED RIGHT NOW" She screams and I laugh.

"You look so beautiful" I wrap my arms around her.

"Thank you" She kisses my nose, she looks at my eyes. "I love your eyes, I have said it countless times"

I laugh, she is so precious.

I set my hand in her cheek and kiss her. Still to this day she is able to make me feel the same warm feeling in my stomach I felt when I first kissed her.

She smiles, "It's time to go love."

We get in the limousine, which then takes us to the premiere of the movie that brought us together. It has been over six months since we finished shooting, Katniss finish school about 4 months ago and is now working on a new movie with her father as an executive producer. For me I still do movies.

"Are you nervous? It's the first time people will see us together since we announced we were engaged 2 months ago" I ask Katniss, then I kiss her hand which holds the symbol of our love.

"I think it will be chaotic, but I'm always down for an adventure" She says.

Katniss and I have done a lot of wedding planning with the help of several people but we do already have everything set to go, so much so we are getting married a week from today. In 2 days time, after the promo for the movie is over, us, families, and friends will be flying to Spain for the wedding. Katniss and I will then fly to Italy for our honeymoon. Katniss and I both love Italy in fact we spent our anniversaries in Italy so we thought it would go well.

The premiere goes well, the movie was amazing and we had a great time, this week and the next two weeks will be the best of my life.

Two weeks later...

"I think it's time, it's been some days now" Katniss tells me as she pulls her hair in a bun and sits in my lap.

"Alright then do it" I kiss her cheek.

"I left my phone upstairs" she takes my phone, "post this one"

"Are you sure?, that's kind of an intimate picture" I tell her.

"It's a cute picture" she argues life. I give in and post the picture.

I post it and put my phone on the counter.

"I love you, you know that right?" She asks me, I laugh.

"I mean I sure hope so if not we will be having some problems" I kiss her forehead and she cuddles up next to me.

"When you first saw me did you think that 2 years later I would be your wife?" Katniss questions.

"No I didn't, frankly your to go for me" I answer truthful,

"Well are you happy with how we turned out?" She kisses my lips

"I sure am, I love you"

wow, this is hard, this was my first book and when i started this i was 13 i would never in a billion year thought this (or any of my books) would be as loved as they are. the first couple of chapter are cringe city but you guys stood around, thank you for helping me grow as a writer and sticking around for what ever i decide to post.
