Beyond Repair

Part Fourteen

I stand there processing the perfect words that just came from his perfect mouth. I look at him and I'm instantly crushed into a million tiny pieces when I see his face. He huffs as he throws his hands into the air. "So that is it your just gonna stare at me like a fucking lost puppy." He shouts. "No, Jake. I just don't know what to think of you being so well affectionate towards me or anyone before. Jake I really don't know what to say." I mumble. "No, I haven't forgotten about you Jake and I probably never will. I believe that Austin loves me to. I'm sorry that you've been in such a distressed state over me. And you know what I  absolutely ready to look past the things we've been through but one of us always screws stuff up and with me and Austin we haven't ever fought once. When I'm with Austin I'll admit I'm not the happiest person on earth but I well I love him." I say the words a little to slowly and Jake can hear the doubt and distress in my voice. "You don't love him admit it your in love with me and you know it your just afraid of losing me like I'm afraid of losing you. People love to learn so me and you need to love each other to learn how to show more love and affection for each other." He steps closer to me.

My breath hitches as he plants his hands on my waist. I am taking back by the sudden contact. "No, Jake if anything we are taking things slow." I slightly push him away from me. "Well, I have to go to the doctor for a check up so I guess I'll see you later."I smile at him slightly. "Um okay I'll see yah later." He is hesitant, he leans down to hug me and I hug him back. "Okay bye." He walks out of my house his head hung low. 

I can't believe myself or him for that fact.  I n pick up my phone to text Austin. *hay.* is all I send. My phone beeps *hey beautiful is there anything wrong.* I stare at my phone with no idea what to send. *I think me and you should well take a break.* I hit send before I can think twice.  My phone quickly beeps again. *You mean you are breaking up with me. I should've known you couldn't stay away from him.* I gape at the message. *I'm sorry... maybe someone else will fall in love with you cause I'm already in love with someone I really am sorry.* I hit send and wait for a reply. Nothing.

I fix my makeup and hurry out the door. I drive towards the hospital hurrying so I won't be late. I park and check my watch it's 4:25pm 5 more minutes and I'll be late. I check in with a nurse and she leads me to the check up room. "The doctor will be in shortly." She smiles and walks out.

I sit patiently waiting for him or her. "Hello Ms. Levy. How are you." He smiles as he steps on. The doctor has gray hare with a nicely shaved beard. "I'm fine Thank you." I half smile. "Alright well I'm gonna ask you a few questions and run some test you should be out of here in less than a hour or so." He assures me. "Alright take as long as you need." I smile.

"Ms when was the last time you had unprotected sex?" He surprises me by the question. "Well nor to long ago, but I had a birth control shot at the beginning of the month." "Okay, I'm just following procedure ma'am. Have you been on any drugs?" He raises a brow. "No no." I shake my head.  "When was the last time you had a check up?" "Uh a month or so ago. "

He continues to ask me questions for another 5 minutes or so. He leaves the room when he's done questioning me.

I sit in the room for a good 10 minutes waiting for the doctor. The door  creaks open and there is now a female nurse. "Dear, may I ask how old you are." I'm confused, but I answer. "Yes, I'm 18 I'll be 19 next week. Is something wrong." My brows furrow. "Well you know it depends on if you take this as a bad thing or a good one." She breathes heavily. "What do you mean?" I question her. "I'll let the doctor explain further he will be here shortly." At that she walks out.

I'm worried. I sit there as 5 minutes goes by it sounds like an eternity. "Hello, Ms. Levy." "What was the other doctor talking about?" I waste no time. "Well ma'am it looks like your pregnant." My jaw hits the floor. I straighten my back.  "Oh alright." Is all I can manage. "Don't stress yourself we still need to do some test and double check it's just a sign of being pregnant we will look into it further. If you could come back Thursday at about 4 in the afternoon." He comforts me. "Yes that'll be fine." "Oh and miss if you could do me another favor just in case you maybe pregnant?" He asks me before I walk out. "Yah." "If you know who the dad I'd that's great, and I'd like him to come with you Thursday, but if you don't know for  sure than don't worry yourself." He turns around to write something on the paper work that's clipped in a clipboard.

I hurry to my car. When I get in all I can think about is who the baby daddy is. I had unprotected sex with both Austin and Jake, and neither of them were far apart from each other. Well if I am pregnant I'm gonna stick with it beings Jake's.
