Beyond Repair

Part Nineteen

I wake up to Jake holding Destiny. It's a rather odd sight to see him with her. "Hay. How long have you been in here?" I smile at him. "Not long enough. They just brought her in here a few minutes before you woke up they were going to wake you up, but I told them that I would hold her while you slept." He carries Destiny to me. "She really is gorgeous." My mom walks over to me.

"Yes she is." I glance at Jake, and I feel bad for him he is in love with me and this baby a baby that's not even his.

"What's wrong baby?" Jake and my mom look at me, and I realize I'm crying. "I need to talk to you alone." I look at Jake and my mom gets the memo. "Okay, so." He looks at me expecting an answer. "Hold on." I say texting Austin to come here. The door opens, and Austin walks in. Jake looks back and forth between me and him. "What the actual fuck is going on here?" Jake is mad now.

"Go ahead tell him Vanna." Austin smirks. "No Austin this is your fault tell him yourself." I heave at the pain I'm feeling. "Okay. Well let's see what do I start with. Oh I have a proposal how about the fact that this baby is mine." He thinks it's a joke. "What do you mean this baby is clearly mine they even tested it so back off." Jake is confused. "See, that's where your wrong. Yes they tested the baby but they didn't really test you cause I switched the results and if you read the paper closer it's not your DNA it's mine. Go ahead have a look." Austin hands the papers to Jake. "O negative." Is all Jake says. "Yes and that's my blood type." Austin informs us. "I hope your happy both of you sick bastards." Jake looks between me, Destiny, and Austin before walking out.

"I hope your happy with yourself." I eye Austin. "Well darling I was but now you make me feel bad." He looks at me with his blue eyes pouring into mine. "You should feel bad it's not like you even care about this baby? Why does it bother you so bad that Jake would be a better father to this baby then you would." I raise a brow. "Maybe because he can't be a better father if he isn't even a father, so you can take me back and we can make this work or you can run off with him and we'll have to do this the hard way." He threatens me.

"Yeah, cause you'd be any good for this baby." I can't stand him. "I'm it's father so I have a right to be it's father." He acts as if he actually cares. "Alright then, but the first time you abandon me or her I will make sure you never see her again." I use her to threaten him. "Okay. So does this mean you take me back or that your just gonna let me be in her life?" He questions me. "I'm not taking you back. Will you go now so I can get a hold of Jake and figure things out?" I look away from him. I hear the door shut, and I'm alone.

*A week Later.*

I gently sit Destiny in her crib to answer the door. "Who is it?" I yell at the door. "Austin." A voice comes from the door. Jake walks out of the room. "Why is he here." He grits his teeth. "He's got visits with Destiny today. I thought me and you could go out today while he was with her." I say before I open the door. "Oh." He simply replies.

I open the door to find Austin with Bri. "Hay, so we can take Destiny back to my house, right." Austin looks at me for an answer. "Yah that'll be fine. I guess we can pick her up later. Come on in and I'll get her ready to go." I walk to my room hoping Jake doesn't start anything.

I walk over to Destiny's crib, and she is laying there eyes wide open looking at me. "Hay baby girl." I smile as I pick her up. I walk into the living room carrying her diaper bag in one arm and her in my other arm."here's her stuff." I hand the bag to Bri. "Oh my god, she is beautiful." Bri gapes at Destiny as I hand her to Austin. "Yah, she is." Me and Austin say in unison. I gently laugh as he does the same.

"I guess we'll see you guys later than." I kiss Destiny's head and wave goodbye when they walk out. I close the door behind them. "What's wrong." Jake eyes me. "I'm just a little worried about leaving her with them." I tell the truth. "She'll be fine if not I'll show him who's boss here." He jokes with some seriousness behind the joke. "Ya." He walks towards me. "Ya." He says as his plush lips brush against mine. My whole body tingles at the new contact. We haven't really been very close since Destiny's birth.

"I love you." He pulls away to speak. "I love you." I'm glad he is still willing to admit he is feelings to me. His phone rings and he walks away to answer it. "Yeah." He says. After a long pause he speaks again. "Sounds like fun be there shortly. Bye." He sits the phone down. "There's a party at Andrews your friends will be there do you wanna tag along?" He asks changing into a pair of ripped jeans. "Yah. Sounds like fun." I say.

I head to my room to change. I stand there searching through my closet before I find the perfect dress. It's just the right size to hide my baby fat. There isn't much left but there is some.

The dress is a little above my knees. It is a plain black dress that is sleeveless. I slide on my black heels, and walk knot the living room. "Holy shit baby." Jake gaps at me. "What is it to much." I look over myself. "No no but how many guys do you want me to fight off tonight." He jokes. I just shake my head and go to the bathroom to apply makeup.

I stare into the mirror as I unzip my makeup bag. I put on light foundation with mascara and a gold eyeshadow. I search through my bag for a lipstick finding a bright red stick. I quickly apply the lipstick and head back to the living room.

Jake and I walk out the door. I yelp as his hand comes in contact with my ass. He chuckles lightly. We sit in the car in complete silence.

*flashback*

"Jake you must listen to me I had no idea about what he did I thought that she was really yours." I yell at him. "Really, because the way you acted you knew all along. He scoffs. "I didn't and I hate that he did that to you please Jake don't act like this." I beg. "Why shouldn't I you have a baby and a baby daddy so why not go be happy with that dumbass. I'm just gonna get my stuff and you'll never see me again." He pushed passed me to get in my room. "I don't wanna never see you again. Jake I'm in love with you." He turns around. "And I you." "Then stay with me please I need you." I wrap my arms around him to hug him. He gently hugs me back. "Fine." He gives in.

I think about the day I got home from the hospital. Jake was getting his stuff to leave when I walked in. But somehow he ended up staying.

"Here we are." Jake says as we pull up to a small but crowded house.
