Out of Hand (One Direction/Harry)

Chapter 3: The Wedge

[This chapter's is a little longer because I want you to get to know the character and her life better.]

As soon as I get inside and go straight to my room. I undress and put a towel around my body. I go to my parent's bedroom and start filling the tub with hot water. I get in and my muscles feel great, I find myself reliving the night in my head. How Daniel left me in that party and how I had to ask Harry for a ride, actually he offered, but anyway. How Acacia was a bitch and how I puked in front of Harry, he was very nice though, with the holding my hair thing and the pharmacy.

My thoughts are interrupted by my obnoxious sister.

"Raine your stupid phone has been ringing for thirty minutes straight and I can't watch my series with your phone ringing!" She says and rolls her eyes.

"Give me the phone." I demand.

"You could ask nicely." She says as she puts the phone on the ceramic edge of the tub.

"Shut up Oceane and go to sleep." I say and she does.

Having a little sister can be annoying sometimes.

I dry my hands and take the phone, I have thirteen missed calls from Acacia and texts from Daniel.

I call Acacia back. She doesn't pick up, so I decide to call Daniel.

"I've been trying to reach you since I left the party! Where the fuck have you been Raine?" He sounds worried.

"Well Daniel, you like literally left me in that party and left so I had to ask Harry Styles for a ride! You left me there and I puked on my way home, in front of him! I had to come back home with one of the people I dislike the most right now because yo.." He interrupts me.

"I get it Raine, I left you, I'm sorry. I asked Niall about you and he said he thought you left." He says and he sounds sincere.

"It's okay, I don't really care anymore." I say

"Harry's not bad, he's just hard to get to know. He's a good guy just give him time, he is my favorite cousin after all." He says and I don't say anything in response. "Anyway, we're planning on going to The Wedge tomorrow since it's our last Saturday before having to go back to school and there's this competition on Sunday so the beach is going to be empty after they set all the stuff up. You coming?" He asks.

"Yes please! I need to surf." I say as I get out of the tub. "I'll tell Fara and Acacia." The water from my hair is soaking my phone and I take the towel fast.

"Perfect, sleep tight. I love you." He says.

"Me too." I say and hang up.

I put a towel around my hair and another around my body. I change to a tank top and some panties and close all the windows. I lay in bed and plug my phone to the charger and as soon as my head touches the pillow l'm asleep.

I wake up to the smell of coffee. I grab my phone and it's 9am, I stand up and I feel completely fine. No hangover. I go downstairs to the kitchen. Joan's cooking and we end up talking and eating for a while. Joan is our housemaid but she's really part of the family, she's always here since our parents travel a lot. I go back upstairs and I have a text from Daniel telling me that we're going to meet at his house at 11am to go to The Wedge. I text Acacia and Fara and they agree to pick me up. I thought Acacia would be mad at me, I guess she's not.

It's 10pm, I shower and I start looking for my clothes but I can't find my bodysuit so I just put on my black two piece and a tank top with high waisted shorts. I spread some perfume and Acacia is already here. I take my favorite board and put it in the trunk. Fara is already here sitting on the back seat.
