Chapter 27: God No

I try to call Daniel, but it goes straight to voice mail. I end up texting him telling him to call me as soon as possible. Zayn and Oceane drop me off and she goes back to his house with him. They were just fighting and I don't get it they're so fucking stupid really. I shower and go to sleep after watching a few movies and eating some ice cream after Acacia comes back. I wake up feeling way too exhausted, it doesn't feel like Sunday.

I go downstairs to the kitchen and get something to eat. Joan makes me a banana milkshake and tells me she has to go grocery shopping. I regret not asking her to stay because as soon as she leaves I start thinking about Zayn. His words replay in my head "He wants you just to fuck you, let it go." How can he be that cruel? Specially telling me to get away from Harry. The irony in his actions make me so angry. He was a little jerk that sleeped around. He didn't even wait for the first or second day, he would fuck right away and never talk to the girl again. Making them be even more obsessed with him. What makes him think he can tell me that? Oh hell yea fucking right! He's been in a his first serious relationship for like six months, how wise. Fuck Zayn and fuck his stupid little pep talk.

I go back upstairs and Acacia and talking on the phone. "Yes, I won't, I'm sorry really." She says and I close the door.

"What's wrong?" I ask as soon as she hangs up.

"My mom just called, I'm finally leaving!" She sounds too excited and so am I. I literally couldn't wait for her to leave, Acacia's presence was starting to annoy me. I love her, but a couple of weeks of her was enough.

I help her pack and she leaves a couple of hours after. As I see Acacia leave I realize Harry is probably not coming over again, before I let my thoughts become something else I push them back. The rest of the day flies by.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm and three missed calls from Daniel. I don't not to call him because I'd rather just talk to him at school, I quickly change to a pull over and light pants. Acacia comes earlier than usual so I don't have a chance to eat.

"Is it awkward with your parents?" I ask as soon as I get in the car.

"Not really, I really missed them." Her voice is so slow.

"Aww, I know the feeling, I can't wait for my parents to come tomorrow."

When we get to school a huge wave of stress hits me. The parking lot is nearly empty because we are so incredibly early, but it's better because I can get my books from my locker and go to class without seeing Harry. Study hall is empty so I plug my ear phones on and let the music sink in, people start arriving, but I stay quite, I really don't feel like talking.

"All students and teachers please leave your current class and go to the auditorium." The principal announces through the loudspeakers and I head to the auditorium. I spot Fara right away.

"Where's Acacia?" I ask her.

"I don't know, but OMG we only had like five minutes of class." Her hair is straight and her eyes look bluer than usual.

"I know, I'm so tired today." I look around before sitting, trying to find Daniel.

"Me too...I heard the school's applying some program where seniors and juniors get paired up with freshman and sophomores and you do stuff together. I don't even remember that well, but I think that is what they brought us here for." I don't process her words after a few seconds.

"Ugh, I don't want to be paired with some stupid sophomore. I hope I get my sister." I say trying to show some interest in our conversation, but I just want to see Daniel.

"You won't get her obviously, but it looks good if you're applying for a scholarship." I don't answer her back because Acacia is walking towards us and Harry is behind her. I can't do anything but look.

"Hey girls, what's this about?" She walks in front of me, sitting next to Fara and leaving me next to Harry

"I'll talk to you later." Harry tells her, but looks at me.

This is what I've been trying to avoid.

"Everyone listen up! We'll be introducing for the first year ever a project called Zero Types..." I stop paying attention when Daniel throws himself on top of the chair next to me.

"Where have you been?!" I whisper to him.

"My phone died when I was with my mom. You're not mad are you?" He asks.

"No, it's okay." He wraps his arm around my neck.

"...We will be giving each of you the name of your partner and the list of project you'll have to do with them. You will have the same partner for the rest of the school year and each project has a grade in each subject so don't forget to do them. All the information will be in the paper you'll get."

After two periods of the same girl talking about how good this idea is, they let us go to lunch.

"I have to look for money in my locker." I tell Daniel.

"You go, I'll be sitting where I always sit." I nod and head to my locker.

I see Claire having trouble closing her locker and I smashed it close for her.

"Thanks." She says as I open mine.

"I was wondering if you could tutor Harry for this week only, I won't be able to and I really don't want him to fall behind." I lie.

"Sure, no probl..." Her voice is cut off by the sound of a locker closing roughly.

"Just to make sure you know, I will treat you like cow shit and I swear if you tutor me I will make your life impossible so I don't think it's a good a idea." Harry threatens poor Claire and the expression on her face lets me know she's frightened.

"I won't tutor you." I can barely hear what she says because she literally runs away.

What the fuck is wrong with this fucking guy.

"What are you doing?" I turn around to face him.

"I want you to tutor me." He's leaning against the locker and his lips look redder than usual.

"I know you do, but we can't always get what we want." I look back up at his face.

"In our case, we can. Plus we have something to talk about remember." He says and I know my face is burning red.

"I don't want to talk about it right now." I look back inside my locker and start digging for money in the different pockets of my bag.

He moves behind me and puts a paper inside my back pocket. Slightly spanking my ass.

"We will later, sweet cheeks."
