"I am a pokemon professor," Oak continued "and I have spent all my life loving and searching foe new pokemon. Moltres here is something of a legendary pokemon, as there is only one of him... And I now see it a shame to keep such a unique and stunning creature contained."
"then maybe let him free? That is the least he deserves if he is as legendary as you say he is." Said Link rudely.
"I agree, let the creature go!" Said Chrom gesturing towards the ball.
"once caught, pokemon cannot be let go or they will die. However, they can be transferred from person to person and can be permanently out of their ball, but never released from its power over it. I believe you there (he points to me) have the correct spirit to own such a pokemon. Anyway, it's dangerous to go alone, take this." professor oak handed over the ball and I released moltres at once. A joyful chirp sounded as moltres stood once again beside me.
"he is now yours to do what you will with him. I'm getting too old for this now... "are you sure? It could burn you alive if-"
"Link, you're beginning to sound like Frederick! Calm down and get on the bird." Chrom cut in and said with a chuckle. We clambered onto moltres and at once we were airborne. Moltres gave warmth from below as we raced through chilling air. We soared over the trees and towards a mountain range, seemingly where moltres called home. This would be good. In a cave in the side of the mountain, there seemed to be some kind of ruins. From inside the cave we could hear caws that sounded more hostile the closer we got to them. Moltres landed and called out to the other birds. As they emerged, one appeared to be yellow, pointy, and bristling with little bolts of lightening erupting from its wings. The other was a pale blue, and every inch of it seemed colder than the last, with Frost brimming it's feathers and a long ribbon-like tail.
"zapdos and articuno. These are the names" Said the voice. I took out the balls that professor oak had given me, aimed, and threw them...
