I wearily sat and stood up from the bed, leaning on Link for balance. I hobbled over to where my robe was (as until now I had been in only simple coverings) and put it on. The familiar weight on my shoulders was both comforting and invigorating, I was ready to go! Out the front doors we went to be amongst the people of Hyrule. We first came across a marketplace where men and women stood at stalls set up with selling on their minds. Fruits and berries, meats and fishes, jewellery (although clearly not genuine) reflected the sun as the smile reflects happiness. Speaking of such happiness, the folks of Hyrule were as they would be on any other day, joyous and merry. I was beguiled at how happy they were given that they were under attack with their lives at risk not even a whole day ago, and truly their faces somehow became even happier when they saw the Princess and I. We came into a central area and the princess led me up some stairs to what was like a lectre from which important news was given. People looked up and cheered as they saw the Princess.
"People of Hyrule, I am overwhelmed to see how swiftly we have recovered from our interlude yesterday!" Said the princess to the crowd, then continued with "I'd like us all to give special thanks to our new friend, Robin. His heroics and power were possibly the reason I stand here today to give this speech. Without him, I would have been either taken or killed. Let's hear 3 cheers for Robin the wizard master of Hyrule!"
The crowd gave the loudest and most heartfelt thanks that anyone had ever heard. I smiled down at them and waved, but felt guilty that Link hadn't been mentioned. Therefore I began to add to Zelda's speech "Thank you, one and all. I can't help but notice that our princess, as wonderful as she is," this caused Zelda to blush and small jestful murmurs scattered through the people for a few seconds "She forgot to mention Link. An admirable fighter who joined the ground forces in their time of need and also was the reason, or rather the way, I came to Hyrule." I point to Link who had been standing in the crowd close to the steps. The crowd all huddled around him and cheered his name. "Thank you Link, for brining me to this beautiful place. Let there be peace in the land of Hyrule!" I finished. I put up two fingers in a 'V' shape to symbolise victory and the crowd return my action gleefully. I turn from the crowd and they all dispurse back to where they had come from. I turn my attention to princess Zelda who is still a little bashful from my complimentary words. "I never had you down as a public speaker!" Said Zelda
"Nor I!" Added Link who had now come up the stairs and joined us.
"Let us see more of Hyrule, show me more people, more places. I want to learn more!" I said excitedly to Zelda
"Alas, our time in Hyrule draws short. Neighbouring Yillise is next in line, and I daresay that if we stay any longer they are at more of a risk than necessary," Interrupted Link "We may come back another time when all lands are under no threat.". He embraced Zelda and kissed her hand, I however considered a respectful bow as enough. Now we were to go on to Yillise.
