chapter 12: fresh start

~1 week in hospital~

As you opened your eyes you were startled by jack looking down upon you.

" jack... " a smile began to play on his lips "what are you doing ?" I lightly laughed to in lighten the tension in the room.

"Your going to get released today" a grin appeared on my face finally I would be able to get out of this place.

~time skip to the house~
As we approached mark's house the memories flooded my mind. The thought of running away, the car, and the hospital . I never felt so unclean in such a sanitary environment. Maybe it was the atmosphere or my filthy conscience making me feel disgusting. I swiped the memories out if my mind and excited mark's car to retrieve my luggage. As I picked up my bag it was quickly stolen from my grasp. With a slight chuckle I saw no other than the bandit ... jack! I tried to chase after him but I was so weak that I slowed down to catch my breathe when mark noticed he pick me up and toted me inside. He gingerly laid me down on the soft cushions.

"No more running!" Mark gave me a stern look and disappear into the kitchen.

Jack entered the living room with a smile painted on his face. He sat down next to me and placed his hand on my thigh.

"I'm so glad your safe and home" he looked at me and offered a bright smile on his face.

I looked back but I didn't smile "jack... I wanna start over" he gave me a confused look.

"what do you mean start over?" His happy, bubbly expression turned into a confused mess.

" I wanna start from scratch have a fresh start" I placed my hand out in front of him. He gave me a confused glace. I shook my hand out in front of his face. He finally grabbed a hold of my hand with a very firm grip. I started to shake his hand "hi, my name is y/n fishbach and you are?" He shot me a flashing smile "my name is Sean McLoughlin"

I released his hand. "Its very nice to meet you"
