chapter 25: awkward situations

I was about to say something to my dad when a familiar face came down the stairs.

"Y/n!" Jack came dashing towards me lifting me off of mark and twirling me in a circle to then place me gentle on my feet. He grabbed my face with his hands and slowly creased my checks with his thumbs. He tried to lean in to kiss me but I quickly wrapped my arms around him to turn it into a hug.

I still liked jack but what about Dan.

"I thought I heard a racket down here" Dan slowly walked over to me and embraced me in a hug.

"I missed you so much!" My words sound slurred since my face was nuzzled into Dan's neck.
"I missed you to" He released me out of his grip and gave me a reassuring smile.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see jack was getting irritable.

"Jack.. can we talk?" I looked down at the grounded while twirling my thumbs around each other. I really did feel ashamed for what I had gotten myself into.

"Of course y/n..." he gave me a quick smile and we headed up to my room.
