!This is an a/n not an actually chapter its just a teaser for the chapter!

So this book has just reached 1k meaning chapter 23 is going to released tomorrow because I want to write an extra amazing chapter for this accomplishment. So I decided to do a teaser for it... this well not be long but its also not word for word so please don't get mad when the teaser and chapter are different. With out further a do I present the teaser for chapter 23...

Dan's ? Pov.
I quickly stepped out the dark watching her fragile body tremble in fear. I didn't want to have to do this.... I wanted to be with her... protect her. Sadly they want me to illuminate her. They told me she found out our secret, that she knew more than she needed to. My people killed her parents... he shouldn't have adopted her, he should have adopted kayla but no... kayla had to be "nice"! They know are secret... they can't know our secret. I moved swiftly around to the backside of her out of her view.

"You should have stayed..." the words slithered of my tongue like a snake gliding across the grass looking for its pray.

"I... I don't know what I did Dan"
She looked down in confusion but you could sense the smile playing on her lips.

"Do you think this is funny?" I launched my body in front of her knocking her flat on her back; Her eyes widened in shock.

"Dan.. please... I.. I love you" she looked up at me, her innocence slowing draining out of her quickly being replenished with evil and rage.

"Wicked wicked girl you are" I gave a quick smirk and tilted her chin up.

"Only for you..." the purr in her voice sent chills up my spin. I cupped my hand on her check slowly creasing it.

"Why did you have to go and be so nosey... " I slowly glided my hand down her face "curiosity kills the cat" she leaned up pressing her nose against mine.

"But satisfaction brought it back"
"Clever girl ; however how can a living thing that's knocked out live again"

"I don't know Dan ?" She placed her hand on my shoulder inching closer to my face.

"I guess you'll find out" with the slip of the words I glided my fist across her face sending her into a deep sleep.

"Night night princess..." I kissed her forehead and creased her hair softly.
