chapter 2: Daughterplier?

I waited to be interviewed by mark and right before I entered the room I heard him say I would like to adopt kayla. My heart broke. Why kayla she hates mark... right? I looked at Kayla with such a cold stare that I forgot that I was and I also didn't even notice mark in front of me.

" hello... miss are you OK?"

"What... Oh sorry I was... MARK!"

"That would be my name *light chuckle*"

"Yeah I know sorry to bother you I got to get back to my room"

I didn't want to leave but I felt tears build in my eyes I couldn't let my idol see me cry. I was so infuriated at the thought of kayla being mark's daughter . Why did she get to be mark's daughter anyways . I turned my heard slightly to my left to realize that I was talking out loud and kayla heard ever word.

"Y/n I told mark that i couldn't be his daughter"

"Why would you do that... kayla you could have gotten out of here"

"Well mark said that his friend wade and Molly were looking for a little girl and his going to tell them about me!"

"So... what about mark, kayla?"

" well he wants to adopt you!"

I fell to the ground in tears did I hear her right or have My ears deceived me.

"Y/n get up and pack your stuff mark is waiting"

I grabbed my book bag and packed all my clothes I owned. I sat down on my old bed and thought wow... am I dreaming.

" *snapping * y/n get going marks waiting"

I Hugged kayla and told her that nothing I said could show my appreciation. As I reached the doorway I turned and looked back at my old room for the last and final time.

"Goodbye..." I whispered and shut the door

I slowly walked down the stairs towards mark. When I reached him he grabbed my bags.

"You ready to go?"

"Yeah I am"
