chapter 5: the secret

"You think she's ok?"

"I don't know mark, wait... her eyes are opening"

"Go get some water for when she wakes up"

I opened my eyes to see mark look down at me.
"Mark" I rubbed my head since it was throbbing uncontrollable. Mark looked at me and nodded. I sat up since my back was hurting from laying down completely still for so long. "I just had the most amazing dream" I smiled slightly remembering the thought of jack.

"About..."

"Well jack was... *cut off*"
Jack runs in the door
"I got the water... *he smiled*y/n your wake!"

I got extremely confused. Wasn't he just in my dream. Was he here all along. I got so caught up in my thoughts that I blocked out mark trying to get my attention.

*snapping * "y/n.... earth to y/n"

"Sorry... I just need some fresh air."

I walked out of the room not even looking back. As I reached the balcony I saw the huge city of L.A. the bright lights, the Hollywood sign, and all the people. I just sat there and thought about how I ended up here with mark and all my doubts and my thoughts and for that time looking out over the city all my worries and fears went away.

"Y/n..."

I froze in fear cause that wasn't marks voice yet it sounded caring. I turned around to see jack looking at the ground. He looked adorable. NO! y/n his to old.

"Do you not like me?"

I panicked I did like him more than I should. I didn't know what to do. I thought to fast and before I could stop myself my lips were on his.

I kissed him! I pushed myself off of him making him stumble a bit.

"Shit... what have I done" I mumbled under my breath. I pushed past jack and ran threw the apartment out of the door. I ran all the way to the park with out slowing down.
