*Hello! Just a quick note, I'm really thankful for everyone's support and kind words. Your feedback is what keeps me inspired to write!*

An entire week went by, and sadly you became no closer to finding who Ladybug and Cat Noir were. Nathanael remained a close friend, but would disappear at random times and spend a lot of time in the bathroom. Or so you thought.

You walked slowly to your locker at the end of the day, feeling let down and frustrated. Nath was gone again, so you had no one to rant to about your worries.

As soon as you slammed your locker shut, a loud, excited voice erupted in the middle of the hallway.

"Guys! Look at this video I caught of Ladybug! I think I know her secret identity!" Alya, a girl from your science class exclaimed. She was yet to acknowledge an uncomfortable dark haired girl standing next to her, trying to calm Alya down.

You turned your head to face her, smiling mischievously.

So she was looking for Ladybug's secret identity? Hmmm... You thought.

Classmates and teachers swarmed Alya, trying to get a glimpse of her phone that was proudly being waved in the air.

Interested, you decided to join the crowd. You squeezed through cramped bodies, determined to get to the center.

"Alya, isn't it?" You asked fake-sweetly, clasping your hands together.

The bell rang, signifying the end of the day. The ring of students around Alya began to clear up, except for her friend.

"Yeah. That's me! Have you seen my Ladyblog?" Alya rambled.

"Um, YES. Yes I have seen your ladybloggy thingie. Say, you're interested in finding Ladybug's identity? What a coincidence! I'm also trying to figure out who she is. Maybe, oh I don't know, we could join forces and work together to figure it out!" You gushed, making elaborate gestures with your hands.

Her friend just stood there, deep in thought about something. Eventually she spoke up.

"Oh er, hi! I'm Marinette. I don't think we've met before...do we have any classes together?" She laughed awkwardly.

You stared at her somewhat guilty face and smiled, turning back to Alya.

"So what do you say? Me and you and the greatest mystery of all time! Maybe we can even figure out Chat Noir's secret identity while we're at it." You winked at Marinette, who started to sweat profusely.

Alya looked like she was going to  explode. At first her hand started to twitch, then she beamed psychotically.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS? OF COURSE! OHMYGOSH THIS WILL BE SOO FUN!" She squealed, grabbing your hands and bouncing on her toes.

You faked a grin and bounced with her. Alya then turned dead serious, and turned to face both you and Marinette.

Her voice turned hushed and she huddled closer.

"Do you know who else is rumored to have a miraculous?" Alya whispered, unable to control her excitement. "Nathanael! Haven't you seen the way he leaves for long periods of time and hardly returns anyone's calls? I think he's the Dessinateur."

Your heart leaped at the mention of his name, and sunk when the cold of reality soaked in.

"D-do you really think so?" You gasped, pondering her idea.

"Alrightyy guys! I think it's time to break it up, we're going to miss the bus anyway...! Come on! Save your theories for creative writing... Ha...ha...you're both so paranoid..." Marinette rambled on, shoving you and Alya down the hallway and out of the doors.

You didn't complain, but as you walked to the bus, you noticed how suspicious Marinette acted, and how eager she was to change the subject.

And could Nath, one of your best friends, actually be hiding a miraculous?
