"This is it." Ladybug gulped, jogging to a stop. Everyone halted behind her, panting like dogs.

You all stared up at the tower in front of you, eying the round glass window gleaming in the early rays of sunlight. Ladybug took out her yo-yo, preparing to hook it onto a nearby windowsill.

"No! Don't go in that way!" You interrupted, pushing past the two boys frantically. "I mean," you began more calmly, "there's an easier way to get up there. Follow me."

Too exhausted to object, everyone quickly followed you around the side and into a nearby alleyway which connected to a street.

You traced your hands over the spiraling butterfly on your suit, still phased by its beauty. A sigh escaped your mouth as you daydreamingly pressed your hand onto the side of the building.

"(Y/n), be serious, how are we going to get in?" Nathanael asked urgently, twiddling the stylus in his hand.

As soon as the words left his lips, a low rumble emerged from the building. A butterfly shaped doorknob popped from the brick, rusted and faded.

"Wow..." They all breathed, flashing you excited smiles.

"I could have just erased part of the wall," Nathanael scoffed, reluctantly following you through the newly opened passageway.

"You can't always play hero, Nath," you giggled, leading everyone into a tight hallway.

He grimaced, not moving from the doorway. You turned to face him, pushing Chat Noir and Ladybug ahead.

"What's with the attitude?" You shot at him.

"Maybe because you're the villain!" He growled, and you could swear you saw a hint of purple lingering in his eyes.

Ladybug and Chat Noir gripped each one of your arms to keep you from lunging at him.

Fumbling for words, you choked out: "how do you know what I am? You know what, just go. If you're going to be a prick about your whole 'I'm the hero' act...then just...go!"

Ladybug's face twisted into remorse and shock, clamping a firm hand over your mouth.

"We're making too much noise!" She hissed, yanking you in front. "(Y/n), stop the drama and lead us to your dad!"

Nathanael smirked, receiving a concerned look from Chat Noir. Everyone crept along the dim hallway until you all reached a small stairwell, which led up to the large Akuma room.

"Just a little bit farther up." You grunted, ticked off by Nathanael. With each step you grew more dazed, your vision foggier.

Everyone clambered up the final stairs, only to find that the large entry door was locked tightly, for even you couldn't enter if you tried.

A sinister laugh suddenly erupted from a few steps below. Everybody whipped around, ready to fight. They prepared their weapons as you put up your fists.

But no one was there, only Nathanael.

And he was akumatized.
