After we ate Skylar went home. During dinner my parents of course didn’t stop asking him question. Turns out his first kiss was when he was 7, his first girlfriend in 4th grade and last girlfriend was in march, last year, yea the questions were that personal.
After Skylar left Jake called, he also told me what happened and that he was in love with Alex and of course I said the same thing I told her; that it was okay and that if they love each other, they should be together and so forth.
“What you thinking about” Alex asks while we walk around school
“About yesterday, it was a weird day” I haven’t stopped thinking about Skylar and what Alex said, Skylar is perfect but I don’t know.
“Hey girls” I heard a familiar voice from behind.
“Hey Jake” Alex said with a bright smile.
“Hey” I said too.
“Hey can I steal Alex from you?” Jake asked, feeling I little deja vou I said “Sure knock yourself out”
“Not literally” I quickly added. Then in a second they were gone. I turned around to keep walking but when I did, I saw Skylar walking towards me and I found myself smiling.
“Hey” He said when he made it to where I was
“Hey” I said with a bright smile
“What’s up?”
“Oh nothing much Jake just came to steal Alex from me so now I’m alone”
He chuckles “Don’t worry since Alex stole Jake from me too, and we are both alone we could chill together, and be alone together”
I chuckle at his request and then I nodded “Sure why not”
We walked around the whole school just talking and gossiping like 10 year old girls. It’s fun hanging out with Skylar.
“So what are you doing today?” Skylar asks me
“Are you asking me on a date?” I asked teasingly and amused
“No” he said too quickly “I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to come over and play some call of duty with me?”
“Call of duty? Do I look like a guy to you?”
“No I just-“ He started but I interrupted him
“I’m teasing you, I happen to love call of duty, I’m not the best at it but I love it”
“Awesome, I’ll pick you up at 5 okay?”
“Sure” as if on cue the bell rang, we said bye and we went to our 1st period. It was kind of awkward since Austin was right behind me but oh well.
“I saw you this morning with my cousin, you guys have a thing now?” I heard Austin say behind my ear
“Jealous much?”
“I’m not jealous I’m just wondering since he doesn’t shut up about you and kept defending you when we broke up, well actually when I dumped your ass” I would’ve snapped at him but I was too busy wondering why would Skylar talk about me, I turned around completely to look at Austin’s face.
“Skylar doesn’t shut up about me?” My question caught Austin off guard, he thought I was going to snap at him.
“Uh yea, why? you like him?”
“Just wondering”
“So do you guys have a thing or not?”
“Maybe we do, maybe we don’t” and with that I turned around.
