Two months later

"We need a resolution." I sing along with Aaliyah while I sweep the floor.

It's the spring so I'm doing a little spring cleaning. I have the day off so I plan on staying in the house all day and relaxing. Abel is somewhere around the house doing something. He just got back from doing a couple shows in Las Vegas and Miami so I figure he's sleeping.

When I finish my cleaning for the day I turn the music off and head upstairs to take a shower. Once I'm done taking a shower I get dressed. I walk into the bedroom and see Abel sitting up and rubbing his head.

"Hey Abel." I say and he looks up.

"Hey Kay." he dryly says and I notice he doesn't look so well.

I walk over to him and feel his forehead. Abel feels really warm so I think he has a fever.

"Baby how do you feel?" I sit next to him

"Not so good, my head and throat hurts. And my nose is stuffed up."

"Abel I think you're sick." He looks at me then holds his head down.

"How the hell did I get sick?"

I shrug my shoulders "I don't know but, you need to rest so you can get better."

"I'm going to take a shower first." Abel gets up and walks to the bathroom.

"Okay I'll make you some tea and some food Abel." I stand and walk out of the room.

"I'm not hungry but tea will be fine for right now thanks."

When I get to the kitchen I feel the teapot with water and put it on the stove. I grab a mug, lemon flavored tea and honey out of the cabinets.

I scroll through my Instagram timeline until the tea water is done. I fill the mug with water and put the tea bag in there. I add a little honey just the way he likes it. I make my way back upstairs with the tea without spilling it and I sit it down on the nightstand because he's still in the shower.

I hear a knock on the door downstairs and I get up to see who it is.

"Hey Lammy." I say once I open the door.

"Wow I haven't heard that nickname in a while." he gives me a hug before coming into the house.

I laugh "I figure it's time for it to return."

"Where's Abel? We were supposed to go to a car show today."

"Abel is upstairs in the shower but, he won't be going anywhere today he's sick."

We walk into the kitchen and he takes a seat on the stool at the island.

"Really, how was he the only one to get sick?"

I shrug my shoulders "I don't know Lamar."

"Well if I can help with anything today let me know."

"I am going to the store to get him some soup and medicine you can come with me if you want." I look at him and he nods.

"Sure I'll go with you."

"Okay let me just grab my shoes and tell Abel I'm leaving." I get up and walk up the stairs.

Abel is out of the shower and is laying in bed drinking tea while looking on his phone.

"Lamar is downstairs and he's taking me to the store so I can get some things for you." I walk into the closer and grab a pair of socks and my adidas.
