(Kyra's Point Of View)
I rubbed my eyes and answered my phone. "... Hello?" I said exaustedly, glancing at my clock. 8:00 A.M. "Good morning!" I heard a singsong voice on the other line. "Oh hi Aurora," I said, recognizing her voice. "Guess what!" she asked. "Yeah?" "I'm coming over!"
I bolted up and hit my head hard on the empty top bunk of my bed. Aurora and I have lived 5 states apart for over a year. It was such a surprise that she was coming to visit!
"Really!?" I said. "When did you plan this?" "I wanted to surprise you!" "School is starting soon! How long are you going to be here?" "Three weeks."
Whatever. It was totally fine with me. "When are you going to be here?" I asked her. "I'm here already. Just not at your house. Whenever it's okay to come over." "Alright, I'll get ready. See you later," I said, hanging up my cell.
I got up out of bed and completed my summer morning routine. I was totally ready for Aurora to get here.
