(Aurora's P.O.V.)
We pulled up into the driveway of a house and I saw Kyra sitting on top of a car. I got out of the car and I could see she was about to cry. She hesitated before hopping off of the car and running toward me.

As I was hugging my best friend I bit my bottom lip, trying to keep the tears from coming out of my eyes. I was always one of those girls who cried about everything, happy or sad. I wiped a tear from my cheek and pulled back, looking at Aurora's face. She looked so different. She was right when she said that Vegas had changed her. I could tell she was wearing lip gloss, mascara, and a light eyeshadow. Meanwhile, the only thing I had on my face was chapstick, glasses, and pimples.

Nothing had changed about Kyra. When I looked at her face all I saw was purely her. The only form of makeup she had on was chapstick. Her chubby cheeks still clung to her face, and small pimples covered her forehead as usual. The only thing that had changed was the glasses. She didn't have those when I moved away.
My mom stood beside the rental car, admiring our best friend reunion. Once Kyra and I finally let go of each other, Mom got back inside of the car and drove away. Then, Kyra brought me in for a tour of the house.
