(A/N: Here's the next chapter. Thank you so much for the 1.4K reads. It really means a lot to me. I have a question to ask for you guys. I want to write a story about the boys not being famous, but rather gang members/bad boys. Would you guys read it? I'm reluctant. Anyway, I know this chapter may suck. Or I dunno. But I hope you like it. Who do you ship more: Darianna (Skip & Arianna), Larianna (Luke & Arianna) or Jarianna (James & Arianna)? Let me know. Please answer my questions. I'm taking your answers into consideration.)

“Happy Birthday. Daniel!” Mum, dad and I walked into his room. He opened his eyes slowly and sat up in his bed with a smile. We had set our alarms to wake up extra early for this. Mum and I bought the birthday cake the night before and put a lock on the fridge so Skip wouldn’t see it.

“You’re finally eighteen!” I said cheerfully.

“Son, I know you’ve been asking for a car and we didn’t want you to have one because your mother and I thought you were too young, but we were thinking about it and we want to take you to the car dealership after your soccer practice and you can pick out whichever car you want.” My dad owns a used car lot, but he keeps them looking brand new. Even so, he’s never let us have one of the cars.

Skip’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Thank you mum & dad!”

“But you’ll have to do us the favor of driving your sister to and from school. We don’t plan on letting her drive until she’s eighteen.” Mum said.

Skip’s nose crinkled up at the news. I spoke up, “Actually, I’d rather take Skip’s bike if that’s okay. It’ll be a really good extra work-out. And cheer practice ends an hour after soccer, so I don’t want to have my brother waiting on me.” I suggested. Skip and I were mad at each other, well he was still mad about the Luke thing and was treating me like crap. He and Luke hadn’t talked since then, except in Janoskians videos. That’s when Skip pretended there was nothing wrong and they were still all like brothers. But there was so much hostility behind the scenes.

Dad chimed in, “By the way, we’re going to be out in Sydney until Sunday night. We wish we could stay to celebrate with you. But we have some important clients in Sydney and we’ll be meeting with them tomorrow. You and Arianna can celebrate watching movies and ordering a pizza. Or you can invite Rae over, but be good. We don’t want you two to cause any trouble.”

“Bye mum and dad. Have a safe trip.” We waved as they got into the taxi and headed for the airport. The second they were out of sight, we both called all of our friends for a party.

Then I ran upstairs and changed into my costume. This year I had chosen to dress up as a skeleton. I wore black tights with skeleton print on them and a long sleeve black shirt with the rib cage and skeleton arms on it. I painted my face completely white and my lips black, also adding large dark circles around my eyes. Let my hair fall freely over my shoulders in soft waves.

The doorbell rang and I ran downstairs. Skip was still in his room, getting into his costue probably. “Hey guys! I’m so glad you could come.” I smiled at about twenty of my friends who arrived together.

“You look hot, Arianna.” James grinned, wearing regular clothes. Some people are just not into dressing up. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. His lips pressed against mine and I tangled my fingers in his hair.

The kiss didn’t feel right though. I was leading him on by not telling him I didn’t love him.

James went into the living room while I greeted everyone else. The last person I saw standing outside was Luke. He was dressed in a frog onesie. I smiled at him, “Nice costume.”
