(A/N: Sorry for taking way too long to update this. This time I don't really have much to say. Just another thank you for supporting me and reading my stories. I love you. xoxo)
I pulled the separation curtain down and jumped onto my brother’s futon mattress on the floor. Everything about today was perfect and my mood reflected the way I hoped everything would pan out for the day. I crawled over to my sleeping brother and screamed as loud as I could go, “WAKE UP, BROTHER!” The grin on my face was as wide as anything.
His eyes opened up in shock. He looked around the room, startled. “What’s wrong?” He sighed, stretching out his muscular arms.
“You, the boys, some of my friends and I are going to have lunch with a fan. She’s an old friend of mine and I promised her she’d meet you today at lunch.” I smiled at him and got off him, heading towards the closet to get some clean clothes. I picked out something casual; black leggings, white spaghetti strap shirt and my light pink knitted boots. I pulled my hair up into a messy pony tail and I was ready to get going.
Skip was still in his bed when I finished changing. He groaned when he saw me walking out of the bathroom, “Why did you have to promise lunch? Its too early on a weekend to be awake.”
I picked up one of his shoes off the floor and threw it at him playfully. “Do this for me. You’re my brother. I hardly ever ask you for any favors.” I told him. It was nice to act like siblings for a change rather than being upset and bitchy as we always were whenever Luke or Rae came up into one of our conversations.
He sighed, “You always make me do what you want.”

First we thought about having the picnic at the park where the boys always filmed their Q&A videos, but in the end we decided no to because we thought we probably would get interrupted by fans. We finally decided to have our picnic in the parking lot where the boys film daresundays. Since it was a Saturday, we knew fans wouldn’t think to go there.
Kelly help me set up some blankets on the floor for us to sit on. When the blankets were set up, each of us had some snacks that we had either made or bought for everyone to share. That’s how the Janoskian boys and I always did our picnics, with every person cooperating with the food. Skip bought some water bottles, I made sandwiches for everyone, the brooks brothers bought potato chips, James brought paper plates and foam plates, Kelly brought mixed fruit and Gardenia just brought her appetite.
I told Gardenia to control herself, to refrain from melting into a puddle of fangirly-ness, at least until we finished eating and I noticed she was really trying her hardest. Her eyes would dart from one boy to the other, taking several moments to stare at each of them.
She was so concentrated in watching them eat that she hardly ate anything herself. “So boys…” I began, after taking a sip from my nearly empty water bottle. “I haven’t formally introduced my friend. Her name is Gardenia Walker.” I smiled at them.
Luke studied her carefully before questioning, “Where do you know her from? I’ve never seen her before.” He seemed like he was starting to get suspicious.
“Childhood friends.” I replied with a giggle, swatting my hand casually.
His eyebrows were knitted together in confusion. “Are you sure she’s a childhood friend? She doesn’t look any familiar to me and I’ve known you my whole life.”
“I met her at church.” I blurted out nervously.
“Right…” Luke said and then decided to change the subject, to an equally awkward one. “Where were you yesterday morning? I called you and you didn’t answer, so then I called Kelly’s house because I was worried and her mum said you guys left the house very early in the morning.”
