(A/N: Thank you guys for reading this story. I'm so close to 2K reads on it! And I've started a new story on here too. It would mean a lot if you guys could read it and tell me what you think. Its called 'Elite Way'. Anyway, I hope you like this chapter!)

For the next two weeks after I had the traumatizing experience, I spent as much time as I could away from Skip, putting as much distance away from myself and his bedroom as possible. Now I was going to Luke’s house every day after cheerleading and leaving only when my mum or dad came for me.

Today was November 14th, the day before my birthday.  After cheer practice, I expected to see Rae get into Skip’s car but instead, she headed toward her pearl white car in the parking lot. Skip was there and when he saw me, he waved me over. I hated his car, it was a beautiful black Dodge Charger and he’d been driving Rae to and from school ever since he got it.

I ignored him and went to the bike rack with Luke. These past two weeks, we’d leave together from cheer practice, with him pedaling the bike and me sitting on the handle bars. We got on the bike and saw the headlights of Skip’s car flash as he turned it on. I rolled my eyes, “Let’s go, Luke. I really don’t want to talk to my brother right now. He’s such a fucking douche.” He started pedaling the bike to get us out of the parking lot.

Other cars started heading out of the lot too and Skip stopped us as we headed out, hitting the front wheel of the bike with the front bumper of his car. “What the fuck, Daniel?” Luke asked, we both got off the bike startled.

“I’m taking Arianna home.” Skip announced as he opened the front door and stepped out of the vehicle.

“I don’t want to go with you.” I glared at him, “I’m going to Luke’s house. We’re going to practice some stuff for cheerleading.”

“Mum and dad asked me to come get you and I’m doing it. You’re coming with me.” He stated. He was in front of me in an instant and grabbed me quickly, carrying me over his shoulder.  I protested, but it was no use. He walked to the passenger side of his car, opened the door and threw me in, strapping me in with the seat belt like a child. He shut the door and I attempted to open it, but he had probably set the child security lock that could only be open from the outside.

“You’re crazy.” Luke growled, “She doesn’t want to go with you. What’s your problem, mate?”

I unstrapped my seat belt and knocked on the window. “Open the door right now, Daniel!”

“Stay out of this Luke.” Skip waved him off.

“No, I won’t stay out of it. You can’t treat her that way.” Luke countered, reaching over to grab Skip’s shirt collar violently. He shook him harshly and they both glared into each other’s eyes. “She’s not a child. She’s made her own decisions, she doesn’t want to go with you. You can’t do that.”

Skip smirked, “Do you think you can do anything to stop me?”

“I can.” Luke replied.

“You will try.” Skip told Luke in anger before lunging at him. My heart froze and I sucked in a breath as I saw them start to fight. Surely Skip could beat up Luke, he does boxing. I needed to stop their fighting immediately.

Skip’s fist hit Luke in the jaw and Luke staggered backward. He touched the aching spot and anger seemed to ignite in him. He took a swing at Skip, but my brother was able to dodge it easily. Then it dawned on me. The front doors could probably open. He probably didn’t lock them with the child lock.

I went over the front seat, falling into the driver’s side. I opened the door successfully and ran to the two fighting boys. I stood between them spreading my arms out signaling for them to stop. “Stop fighting. You two are brothers! This isn’t how brothers treat each other.” I said, adrenaline rushing through my veins.
