Bra shopping was a real nightmare. None of the bras fit me correctly, so I gave up after three hours of nothing to show for. I was now sitting in the food court eating a blue moon cone while ignoring the world. Of corse I couldnt have a moment of peace because just then Alec and shawn sat down next to me.
"What kind of a girl goes to the mall alone?"Alec quickly asked trying to spark a conversation.
"the kind that wants to be alone for more than two hours." I said with a warming smile. "And what makes you think im alone?" He looked at me then around the mall, and back to me.
"Your not alone?" he asked slowly. I just smiled and shook my head no. After all jayce was stuck in front of the ice cream booth still trying to pick a flavor out of the 147 diffrent kinds.
"Im here with a friend." I licked my icecream and smiled a blue smile. Both alec and shawn smiled at this.
"Ravin or eve?" shawn asked in a low voice.
"neither," I licked the cone again. both alec and shawn gave me a weird look. "What, I do have more friends than eve and ravin ya know." I said alittle shocked they would think im that lonely. Just then someone sat down next to me. I look over to see tempest's bright and lustful grin, With angel and Amora taking the last two empty chairs at the table.
"Hey love miss me?" Tempest said sipping out if a cup in her hands.
"wasnt expecting to see you guys here." I said confused on how their here.
"Yeah, we got bored so we thought we would come out and play." Amora injects.
"Who are your friends here love?" Tempest says gesturing to alec and shawn.
"oh this is alec and shawn. Shawn and alec, this is tempest, amora and angel." I introduced them. Just then jayce came back with two different cones. I smiled when I seen him licking both one at a time. "Wow," I said to him as he froze when he seen everyone now at my table.
"Wow your self, god temp, amora, angel this is a surprise." he said as he handed me a cone to hold before dragging a chair over and sitting next to me.
"Hey jayce" The girls said in almost unison. alec and shawn looked confused.
"See I have more friends than eve and ravin, gee what am I a sociopath?" I said to them as I took a bite of the last of my ice cream.
"Yeah no kidding," Alec started then turned to jayce. "you go to our school dont you?" he asked.
"Yup." Jayce said as he made a mess of his ice cream. I started laughing as he got it on his nose.
"Here," I said taking a napkin and whiping it off for him. "Well it was nice to see you again," I said to tempest, amora, and angel. I turned to shawn and alec, "we got to go so I'll catch you guys later." I grabbed jayce's arm sleeve and yanked on it. "Come on weirdo its getting late and I dont like driving in the dark." I could feel the stairs pierce through my back as we walked away.
_______________________Shawn's POV___________________________
"Sixty says their gonna get married." The blonde girl amora, says and places money on the middle of the table as soon as Lilith and that one guy left.
"Seventy five says their already married." That angel girl puts more down.
"Please, jayce married? Thats like asking a cow to make chocolate milk out of its utters. He and Lilith might be perfect for each other but you have to consider the facts love. One, their not even together as a couple. Two, a part of her hates him for what he did to her still, and three the devil doesn't love. Its like a tiger trying to change its spot to match the leopard, it just dosent happen. One hundred and seventy two says that their not gonna get together and if so they wont stay together." Tempest says laying down every bit of money in her hands.
"Wait your actually betting on this?" alec says confused. Tempest turns to alec and smiles before collecting the money.
"Yup, see my girl lilith is a special case."She countinues
"How so?" I finally speak.
"That my friend is a secret," She leans a little closer to me, her foot genteelly nudges mine from under the table. "But who cares about her secrets, wanna know some of mine?" she said in a low seductive voice followed by a wink. I stand up and pull alec with me away from the table and out of the mall. Once out of ear shot I turn to alec.
"Who is that jayce guy? and where did lilth get these new friends? They were sure in the hell not in her life before she went missing." I say to alec as we get in his truck.
"You think she's not telling the whole truth on where she was when she was gone?" He asked questioningly.
"All im saying is that they never exsisted until she came back, and how did she know I kissed jen, I didnt tell a single soul and jen was in a trance so she doesnt remeber." There was something off about Liliths disappearance. I turned to alec with a serious face. "Do you think shes a-"
"No not possable, this is lilith were talking about shawn. Shes not apart of our world."
__________Lilith's POV_____________________________
"Oh my god jayce these damn bras are TEN times too small." I complain trying to shift in the passenger seat of my impala.
"Maybe you should actually look at the clothes size instead of the design" he responded with a chuckle.
"Oh shut up!" The ride home was mainly me complaining about my poor bra decisions. Once I got home It was pretty late. I had managed to sneak jayce up to my room where I passed out in his arms on my bed.
