Hazel POV

"Finally, I'm done." I wiped the paint off of my messy hands. A lot of dried up paint was under my fingernails but it was okay I was used to it.

I stepped back looking at the portrait. It was a picture of Chris and I and a whole story in the background. Chris and I were hugging in the middle looking all happy and what have you. In the background on the side I was on was a picture of a beautiful Cali sunset. On Chris's side it was a sunset behind a few Atlanta buildings. I was going to school in Cali and him in Atl so it made a lot of sense. Underneath each picture were two monsters. It wasn't really scary though, it was a cartoonish looking monster something like what Chris used to paint as a teenager. He taught me a few of his tips. Anyway on my side behind my back was a male monster to represent Marcus's bitch ass. Behind Chris was a female monster which was supposed to be Natalie.

This was a very meaningful picture to me because it showed me that although there are many obstacles surrounding Chris and I we would always be friends and I would love him forever. Whether we were in love or not.

We are gonna have to figure this out because me not talking to him isn't going to make anything any better. I pulled out my headphones that were playing Tuscan Leather by Drake. I loved that album so much.

I grabbed a towel and made my way to the bathroom. A hot shower was needed. I turned on the hot water, and while it fogged up the mirrors in the bathroom I stripped off my plus sized t-shirt and boy shorts.

After my shower I threw on my Nike sweatshirt and some black jeans. I threw my messy curls up into a messy bun. Ugh. I'm just messy. I began cleaning up some clothes on the floor when I heard Travis knock my door.

"It's open." I yelled picking up my dirty shirts. I threw them into a nearby hamper and turned to face my brother.

"Wassup, butthead?" I asked him, sitting on the front of my bed.

"Well there's someone here for you. I and I can't tell you who though." He rushed his words. Grabbing my hand he led me to the door. I pulled him off me and gave him a stern look.

"Who is it? I want to know Travis." I was really worried that it would be Chris and I was not in great condition to face him. At least not right now.

"I don't know just come on you punk." He grabbed my hands and dragged me to the top of the step. This boy really got stronger considering he was the captain of the wrestling team. He pulled me down and my worst nightmare met me at my front door.

I stood there in disgust while Marcus had a huge bouquet of roses in his hands. Damn Travis!

"Get out of my house." I mumbled looking at him. I gave him the meanest mug you could give someone. He stepped towards me and I stepped back. Travis ran off to the living room somewhere so he didn't see what was going on.

"Listen Hazel I love you I really do and I'm sorry about what happened. I didn't mean it I really didn't. I was drinking a whole lot and I fucked up. She threw her self on me and I wasn't thinking straight." He stepped towards me and this time I didn't move. "I didn't want this to happen, I didn't want to break your heart. I think about you everyday because I can't stand being with out you. Please take the roses." He handed them to me. I grabbed them and threw it on the floor as hard as I could. Good thing my dad and my mom wasn't here.

"I don't want this shit! You think you can just come in here and blame everything on the alcohol! You don't even drink heavy. You told me yourself and I know that if you really were thinking about me you wouldn't have Natalie on your crotch. It's not even that you cheated that hurt it hurt that it was with her. You know I hate her." I was in his face now, about 2 inches away .
