Today is the day where there is class registration for next semester. Next week is winter break and Louis' birthday is also next week. Grant and I have been training a lot. I did end up using the rope. He tied me to a pole and I had to get out of it. I did after a little while. But we all have to meet with our advisor to choose classes. My advisor is Mr. Smith. He just called me into his office.
"Skye, how are you?" He smiled as he shut the door and I sat down.
"Ok." I replied. I still get depressed about my mom being dead but I'm getting on alright.
"Well, I looked at previous classes you have taken and you have all the credits to graduate already. So, you can choose any class you want to take. You just need to take at least four classes." He told me.
"Well, I want to take Ms. Tenner's next level music class. I enjoyed her class."
"Ok." Mr. Smith typed on the computer. He looked at me, "What else?"
"Do you have anything challenging?" I asked.
"Well, we have an advanced chemistry class, an engineering class, and a criminal justice class." He told me.
"How about the chemistry class?"
"Sure, do you want any of the others?" He asked as he started to type on the computer.
"Um, yeah. I'll take the criminal justice class." I replied. I think it might be cool.
"Sounds good but you still need one more class." He looked at me. I started to think.
"Um, what kind of physical education classes do you have?" I wondered.
"Well we have the generic, but we have yoga, archery, martial arts, boxing, and then we have an advanced martial arts class but you haven't taken a class yet so I wouldn't suggest it unless you have outside experience."
"I'll take the advanced class. I've taken classes." I grinned.
"Ok." He typed then pressed enter, "You are all set for next semester unless you want to add an extra class?"
"No, but I have a question."
"What is it?" He started to print my classes then turned his chair towards me.
"The track and field team here, do I just go to the first practice?" I wondered.
"If you want to be on the team then yes. I would suggest talking to Coach Jones too." He nodded.
"Ok, well thank you." I stood up.
"You're welcome. Oh, don't forget your classes." He gave me the paper.
"Thank you." I took the paper and walked out of the office. I headed out to my car. I saw Grant leaning against my car but no sign of his car anywhere. He smiled at me.
"Get off my car. It's expensive." I grinned. He got off and gave me a hug.
"What are your classes for next semester?" He asked as he let go. I gave him the piece of paper, "Advanced chemistry, Music?" He looked at me oddly.
"Yeah." I grinned.
"Alright, um criminal justice. That's kind of cool. And advanced martial arts. You are going to ace that class." He smiled and gave me the paper back.
"Thanks to you." I smiled and put the paper in my bag.
"Ah no. I just helped. You were a hard worker."
"Thanks, but why are you here and without your car?" I asked.
"I had a taxi drop me off."
"Ok, but why are you here?"
"Why do you think I'm here?" He raised his eyebrows. I squinted at him and thought.
"More training?" I questioned.
"Yep." He nodded.
"What is it this time? Getting handcuffed to a chair?" I smiled.
"Nope, something much more cool. Give me your keys." I handed them to him.
"Where are we going?" I asked as he opened the passenger door for me. He walked around the car with a smile, "Grant, where are we going?"
"Just get in. You'll like it." He smiled and got in. I got in and shut the door. He cranked it and drove off.

He drove for over an hour probably and we ended up at an abandoned runway. There was a broken down shed with airplane parts in it that were rusty.
"Am I gonna like learn how to jump out of a helicopter or something? Or learn how to drive one?" I asked as he parked the car.
"No." He chuckled, "I don't even know how to drive a helicopter."
"So why are we here at an abandoned runway?" I wondered. He grinned then started the car. He looked at me and let out a small chuckle. I'm confused. He looked at the runway ahead of him and his smile went away. He pressed on the gas and shifted gears. Holy shit! Is he teaching me how to drive fast or something? As we were nearing the end of the first runway, he made a few shifts then we drifted into the second runway and he sped down that way. He slowed down then turned back onto the first runway. He stopped and put the car in park.
"You are going to teach me how to street race?" I questioned.
"No, how to getaway. If someone starts to follow you, you need to know at least the basics. As you do so, you will hold your necklace and I'll keep track of where you are going. But you need to know enough to stay alive." He told me.
"Why are you training me as if I'm a junior agent?" I wondered.
"You kind of are. I know you want a normal life but you are in danger for awhile and you should know a few things for now." He replied.
"Ok." I nodded.
"Good, so now you drive." He smiled and got out of the car.
"What?!" My eyes shot open as I got out of the car.
"You aren't going to learn by watching me." He walked over to me. I kind of don't want to but I've always wanted to drive fast but I'm kind of scared, "Please don't tell me you are scared? The scariest thing in life you could've seen so far is seeing your mom get killed right in front of you. That's the only thing you should be scared of right now." He told me. He actually brought up my mom's death.
I walked past him and went into the front seat. He got into the passenger seat and closed the door. I took a deep breath. I looked at the runway ahead. I pressed on the gas and shifted gears as I went and got faster. Damn this can go fast. I shifted gears, turned the wheel, and stepped on the brake as I drifted onto the next runway. I drove down a bit then slowed down and stopped about halfway down. I parked the car. How the hell did I drift? I never learned to. I saw how Grant did it but there is no way I would've been able to do it. I looked down as I held the wheel.
"You are like me." Grant said.
"What do you mean?" I looked at him in confusion. As if I wasn't confused enough.
"I never told you how to drift but you watched me. From you just watching me you learned how to. That's what happened to me. It's like being a copycat. That's how you excelled at kickboxing so well. You would watch me do a few things and you were able to replicate it." He explained. I rested my head against the steering wheel for a minute and thought. Then I picked my head up and looked around my car, "Are you looking for something?" Grant questioned and I looked at him.
"Ever since my birthday and Uncle Chris changed my car a bit, I feel like something has changed in my car. What is in here that I don't know about?" I asked him. He rolled his eyes then turned to the back. He held down on where it says Bugatti and he pulled a small hatch down.
"Two pistols, some rounds, numbers, an extra phone, money, and a pocket knife." He told me.
"Why do I have guns in my car without me knowing for like two months almost?!"
"Incase your mom, dad, Chris, or I would be in the car and something happened." He told me and closed the hatch.
"Can I just go home? I can't comprehend everything right now and I'm supposed to be having dinner with Louis tonight." I told Grant.
"Sure. Let's go." He said and sat back in the seat. I drove off and headed home.
