Chapter 5

"Skye if you want to show me what you look like you better hurry up because I have to get to work." My mom said. I'm in my bathroom putting my dress on. I already did my hair earlier. I opened the door and walked out.
"So?" I smiled.
"Oh, my baby girl is growing up. You look beautiful." My mom smiled and gave me a hug.
"Thanks mom. Now you can go to work." I chuckled.
"Ok, have fun tonight. Stay safe." My mom said as she left my room. I looked into my mirror trying to figure out if I'm missing something. I slid on my white heels. I only ever wear these for special occasions. I grabbed my phone. Louis should be here by now. I put my phone and keys in my handbag.
"Damn." I heard from behind me. I turned around and Louis was in shock. He was all dressed up nicely too. His quiff was on point. He was wearing a white button up that he buttoned all the way. Then the collar of the button up was black. He had a nice black blazer with black slacks on and probable black Italian shoes. Then he had one of those little classy handkerchiefs in the front pocket of his blazer.
"You look amazing." I told him then gave him a kiss.
"Not as amazing as you. But I think you're missing something." He grinned.
"What?" I wondered. He walked around me then pulled something out of his pocket. The necklace he got me. He put it on. I forgot that he wanted to wait so he can put it on. He held the sides of my arms softly then looked into the mirror with me.
"There, now you're perfect for the perfect night." He smiled. I turned around and faced him.
"Thank you." I gave him a kiss.
"I don't know how I feel about these heels though. I feel shorter." He chuckled and so did I.
"You're still a little taller than me." I smiled.
"Come on. Let's go. I've got reservations." He told me. He took my hand and we walked downstairs.
"Did you lock the back door when you came in?" I asked.
"Yes." He responded as we walked out the front door. I closed the front door and took the keys out of my bag and locked the door. I set the keys back in my bag. Louis took me over to his black Porsche Spyder. He opened the door for me and I got in. He closed the door then went around and got in. He started the car then drove off.
"Now, I never asked you. What Bugatti do you have? The super sport?" Louis asked and I chuckled.
"No, it's actually the Chiron." I told him.
"I thought they didn't come out until next year. You have an all white Bugatti Chiron. How?!" I couldn't help but laugh.
"My mom's brother is the managing director." I told him.
"Of Bugatti? Like the corporation? Oh my god! Can you hook me up with one?" Louis asked and I laughed.
"Oh come on. I love the Spyder!" I told him.
"Ok, let's switch cars then." He looked at me quickly.
"Oh god, no way. One, my mom would kill me if I did that. Two, I love it. It's my baby." I smiled.
"What's your baby's name?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Mia." I told him.
"Why Mia?" He wondered.
"Do you know Mia Hamm? The female soccer, sorry football player?" I looked at him.
"Oh yeah, ok." He nodded a bit as he made a turn.
"What's your baby's name?" I asked.
"Mary Jane." He smiled.
"Did you actually-? Spiderman really? Your in a Spyder and you just had to have a Spiderman reference didn't you?"
"Yeah." He laughed. I chuckled a bit.
"Wow, but anyways, where are we going?" I asked.
"Anima e Cuore. For my parents anniversary last year we went there for dinner."
"Sounds fancy; and pricey." I looked at him.
"It's not that bad." He told me. There was hesitation.
"It's a little pricey isn't it?"
"Egh, but not an insane amount." He told me.
"Louis!"
"Hey! It's our first real date. After this I promise you next time won't be as pricey. I just like to have a first date be the finest." He told me.
"I still hate you for this." I told him.
"No you love me." He gave me a smile.
"I know I do." I grinned and he let out a little chuckle.
"Plus side though, my parents know the chef. They're kind of friends." Louis smiled.

We arrived at the place and it doesn't look as fancy as I thought. I feel way overdressed. Louis took my hand and walked inside. There are twinkle lights and candles everywhere. No one is here.
"Mr. Tomlinson, come with me." A lady said and we followed her. She sat us down at a table. It was a simple table with a little candle in the middle.
"Thank you Jane." Louis smiled at the waitress.
"You set this whole thing up. You asked them for a favor."
"Well yeah. I wanted our first date to be special." Louis smiled.
"Also, his family and my family are very good friends. I owe his parents a favor." The chef came in. Louis stood up and gave him a hug.
"How are you?" Louis asked him.
"Grand, and you?"
"Fantastic." Louis answered. He sat back down.
"Skye, it is nice to meet you. I've heard a bit about you and we have started the meal for you two." The chef gave me a greeting kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you." I smiled. I saw Jane bring over a bottle of red wine.
"Cabernet Sauvignon 1992." Jane set it down. She walked away. The chef poured Louis a bit of the wine. He swirled it around in the glass then took a sip. He grinned.
"She'll like that." Louis set his glass down. The chef poured a little into my glass then topped Louis' glass off, "Thank you." The chef placed the wine aside and went back into the kitchen. I took the glass of wine and started to swirl the wine around.
"You know, technically since I'm American it's illegal for me to drink." I told him.
"Well you're not in America are you? Plus, you drink wine anyways. You still have a bottle in your room." Louis and I both chuckled, "Try it." Louis waited for me. I took a small sip of the wine.
"Wow, that is really good." I smiled.
"I knew you would like it." He smiled and took a sip of his wine.
