Chapter 7: The Cave

"Oh man" (Y/N) said as she rubbed her eyes.  "You alright (Y/N)?" Asked Mabel as she rubbed you're head.  "Yeah I just regret not sleeping all week is all, but it's worth it to learn the knowledge the world has to offer." (Y/N) said as she smiled at Mabel with bags under her eyes.  Suddenly Stan came outside to the porch of the Mystery Shack in his muscle shirt and shorts along with a soda in his hand, he looked to see (Y/N) and Mabel sitting on the couch that reside on the porch and sat next to (Y/N). "Whoa No offense but you look terrible, wait don't tell me you didn't sleep this whole week because of that assignment I gave you huh!" Stan said as he looked at (Y/N) unpleased.  "It's nothing Gruncle Stan I've pulled all nighters for months before a week is nothing." (Y/N) said as  she once again rubbed her eyes and Mabel continued to look at (Y/N) with concern. "If you don't get proper rest you'll end up dangerously exhausting yourself." Mabel said. "The kid is right (Y/N) you need to sleep, besides that was the last of what I wanted you to help me with so feel free to just do whatever and a nap should be on the top of you're list. Now go sleep before i tie you up and trap you in you're room then you'll Have no choice but to sleep." Stan said as he pointed toward the cabin.

"Alright Alright I'll go get some rest, but later we hang out no if ands or buts got it?" (Y/N) said as she got off the couch.  "Of course (Y/N)! I love hanging out with you!" Mabel yelled as she hugged (Y/N)'s leg and let her go to the cabin. Dipper walked up to the porch as (Y/N) walked away. Finally convinced her to get some sleep?" .Dipper asked as he looked at Stan and Mabel.  "Yeah, I mean I know she has important things to do but what does she have against sleep!? Who doesn't want to sleep!?" Mabel yelled in her normal crazy funny manner.  "She's always been that way, when she was you're age she used to sleep all day to try to avoid going to school." Stan said as he drank his soda.  "Really? But why? She's so smart.-" Dipper said as Mabel added to his sentence. "And beautiful!!" She exclaimed.  "Well from what I heard she was bullied even through High School, so she did that to try to avoid people and her grades weren't a problem at all they were actually better than any of the other students. " Stan said as Dipper and Mabel looked at each other with a sad expression.  "It got so bad when she was bullied that a couple kids almost killed her, happy it didn't but that little incident basically ruined her life it's because of that she's not a people person." Stan said as he took another sip of his soda. Mabel with a shocked expression on her face and dipper with a semi angry but concerned face both stared at Stan as they thought about their cousin and the  atmosphere became silent. Stan broke the silence by getting up from the couch and finishing his soda before he tossed it in the trash.  "That's all I know honestly I don't know how she's been since she graduated you'll just have to ask her you're self but let her rest first alright, I'm gonna watch TV inside you guys can come if you want." Stan said as he walked inside the shack. Mabel and Dipper both sat on the porch and looked down in sadness before looking at each other.  "Wow I can't believe cousin (Y/N) had such a terrible childhood." Dipper said. "Yeah but I don't understand what's there to not like about (Y/N) she's just so cool and always there, and kind and sweet and gentle. Why did people hate her so much." Mabel said as she became more saddened.  "Well who needs those jerks (Y/N) has us her family and that's all she needs." Dipper said standing up with Determination.  "You're right! Only we deserve (Y/N)'s love no one else!! NO ONE!!!" Mabel yelled enthusiastically as he stood up.  "Right. Now let's go find Wendy so we can hang out with her til (Y/N) is fully charged." Dipper said.  "Haha she's not a battery Dipper but I know what you mean now let's go see you're girlfriend!" Mabel said as she ran into the forest.  "She's not my girlfriend!" Dipper yelled as he followed Mabel.

Floating above the shack Bill watched as the Pine twins ran into the woods and went back to just chilling enjoying the beautiful day even though he had an unamused expression on his face, but that's only because he's always watching and heard the conversation they just had.  "Wait til they find out about the guy that ditched her. They'll be happy to hear about that." Bill said still unamused and now a little annoyed.  He looked over to the cabin and saw (Y/N) enter it.  "Hm....well today's gonna be dull." Bill said as he continued to chill over the shack.  After only 5 minutes of silence Bill snapped his fingers and appeared in the living room of the cabin only to see (Y/N) fast asleep on the couch.  "Didn't make it to her bed I see." Bill said as he sighed and decided to pick her up bridal style as she still slept in his arms. He then floated up stairs and took her into her room and was about to lay her down but stopped as soon as her head fell forward rubbing against Bills cheek, it didn't phase him til he heard and small whisper come from her. "B-Bill." (Y/N) said. Bill looked at (Y/N) only to see her sleeping face. "She's dreaming..about me? Hmmm." Bill said as that gave him an idea, he placed (Y/N) gently on her bed and covered her up. He then floated up, "let's see what you're dreaming of." Bill said as he snapped his fingers and disappeared and went to explore (Y/N)'s dream.
