Chapter 20: (Y/N)'s Feelings

After the meal everyone went back to strategizing as Gruncle Stan pulled (Y/N) to the side and she was briefing him on what was going on and her knowledge of Fords whereabouts, Bill sat on a rock and stared inside the cave as he was slouched over like if he was focusing on someone and of course that someone was (Y/N), He couldn't look away from (Y/N) as the words he said to him played over and over again in his head that was until Mabel interrupted both his thoughts and his view of (Y/N) as she stood in front of him with a normal calm expression. "So how did it go? Did you two make up?" Bill gave her the annoyed look of defeat as he sat up properly and gave out a sigh, "It's actually a lot worse-" Bill said but was cut off as he felt Mabel force him to his feet and grabbed his hand and dragged him to the woods away from everyone and out of sight.

Dipper ran up to where Bill and Mabel were then he looked around frantically, "Mabel ran this way she has to be-" Dipper cut himself off as he looked and saw part of a gold tailcoat go int the woods. "Is that Bill?" Dipper asked himself as he followed after Bill. Mabel let go of Bills hand as he stood up and she turned around to look at him with a sad look. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to listen but she can't do that and why aren't you trying harder to persuade her to stay! I mean it doesn't bother you at all you'll never get to see her again!" Mabel said as tears slightly filled her eyes. Bill pulled out a handkerchief kneeled down to her level and wiped Mabel's small tears, "Glad to know your on my side Shooting Star. But she sounded pretty serious about her decision." Bill said as his smirk turned into a small frown and he gave the handkerchief to Mabel as he stood up. "But you can change her mind you just need to tell her how you feel! You like her a lot or is this face just part of all the lies! I mean You even did naughty things adults do when they love each other! I just ah my head is in too many places right now." Mabel said as she started to freak out. "Whoa whoa calm down shooting star, don't have are heart attack you're not 90 yet." Bill said as he calmed Mabel down and gave her a serious look, "I'm so in Love with her shooting star it's so unbearable and nearly impossible to uphold my end of the deal! I could never forget her! Dammit i mean come on I didn't even allow her to forget me when she had amnesia! You have no idea how angry and -what is it sad?- anyway just how weird I felt when she forgot about me...I was actually afraid she'd never remember any of us." Bill said as he stared at Mabel. "And I've never been afraid. But I feel it everytime a chance comes that I might lose her. Midnight may have caught my attention one point in our partnership but not as much as (Y/N) has, midnight has never succeeded in making feel this feeling you humans call Love but (Y/N) has and I want to be with her more than anything which is why after I take my power back from her I'm gonna stay here and be with her! Here in gravity falls." Bill said with such sincerity and determination in his voice. He looked down at Mabel as she looked up at him with sparkles in her eyes and was admiring his words. "Say what you just said to (Y/N) and I'm sure she'll be happy and you two can make up." Mabel said as she continued
smiling.

Dipper walked up as they both looked at him surprised. "Dipper where'd you-" Mabel asked as Dipper cut her off and stared at Bill, "You really mean all this? Your not joking around." Dipper asked with a serious look as Bill looked at him dead in his eyes, "I'm DEAD serious Pine Tree. (Y/N) is the only girl I want." Bill said with serious and kinda scary voice. Dipper looked at Mabel then back at Bill before letting a deep sigh escape his mouth. "(Y/N) can't focus on what's to come if these emotions of yours get in the way this issue needs to be handled right away if we hope for the survival of mankind. So I say you let us help you with her." Dipper suggested. "No Pine Tree your still a kid this is solely between us adults. Now scram she's suppose to meet me in this exact spot in twenty minutes to start her tutorial on how to use her new powers." Bill said as he shooed away the twins. Dipper pushed Mabel in the opposite direction as she still stared at Bill with a smile and sparkles in her eyes. "They are gonna make pretty little Bill babies." Mabel whispered to Dipper as they got further away from Bill, "Why would you say that ew Mabel." Dipper said as they went out of sight just in time as Bill looked to his right and saw (Y/N) come out of the bushes as she approached him. "Whoa-Um..Have you been waiting here the whole time?" (Y/N) said with an awkward kind of look. "Yeah, thought I'd enjoy the scenery before its gone. Enjoy the peace and tranquility." Bill said as a gentle breeze filled the air. "Come with me to the river no questions asked." Bill said as he turned away from (Y/N) and walked toward the direction of the river. (Y/N) followed, half way through she lost Bill but saw him sitting in the grass in a small hill above the flowing river as his feet dangled off the ledge. He looked back at (Y/N) and patted the spot next to him with his hand as he smiled. "I don't bite unless you ask me to my little Raindrop." Bill said as he smirked. (Y/N) was unamused by his action but walked up and sat next to him anyway but avoided his gaze the whole time. "Tell me something, I mean since I can't read minds anymore I'm curious to know. Is there one thing you've ever regretted in your life?" Bill asked as he stared at (Y/N) and she became surprised by his question, she took awhile before she answered. "If there was um one thing I regret it's missing the season finale of my favorite tv show the time it actually came out, the hype just wasn't the same the day after even when I did record it." (Y/N) said as Bill laughed out loud. "Wow not what I was expecting." Bill chuckled as he stared at (Y/N) she then backed away a little bit as she gave him a questionable look, "Why did you just say that?" (Y/N) asked as Bill smiled because he didn't say it but he thought it and he can see she was taping into the new power pretty well without his help. "You just read my mind and I must say your catching on quick. But I thought it because it's what I feel. I am in love with the most amazing woman ever." Bill said as he leaned in and (Y/N) blushed really hard but snapped out of it quickly as she got up and looked away from Bill. "We should start our training so we can stop midnight." (Y/N) said before she stopped in her tracks and Bill stared at her as she just stood there with her back to him and let out a sigh, "What's one thing you regret?" (Y/N) asked still avoiding Bills eye. "Hurting the person I didn't realize how much I loved til I lost her." Bill said as he stared at (Y/N) as she just stood there, "We should get started." She responded as she walked away and Bill stood up as he watched her walk out of his sight. After awhile he followed her to where she went and they began their training.
