Chapter 5- The Nondate...

Audrey's POV

I wake up to my Austin Mahone alarm and hop out of bed. Yay I'm meeting with Harry today!

well I want to be at Hyde Park for 12:30 just to be fashionably late Hahaha just kidding I'm going at 11:30.

I get up and walk to the bathroom grabbing a towel and my iHome on the way, turning on my iHome I undress and turn on the shower washing my body to smell nice and clean, just as I'm getting out of the shower my favourite song What about love by Austin Mahone comes on and I start to sing along obnoxiously loud, after drying my body and hair I pull on a pair of blue high waisted jeans and a cozy pink jumper with light blue converse and a gray beenie placed over my soft curls. I brush my teeth and apply a light amount of foundation, mascara, and some light pink lip gloss because I want to look natural. I walk out of my bathroom listening intently to Breakeven by The Script.

I am now ready to leave and it's 11:30 but I just realized I have to walk so I probably won't get there till about 12:00... I take my phone out of my pocket to see two text messages from Harry.

Hey Audrey are we still on for lunch?

Would you like me to pick up?

I quickly reply,

Yeah that would be great! I don't really have a car...

Okay be there in ten :)

Harry's POV

After getting out of the shower and finishing getting ready I walk down stairs to be greeted by Lou.

"Ooooo what's the occasion?" He asks giving me a knowing look.

"I'm just going out to see a friend." I say waving him off as if I have nothing to hide.

"Okay well have fun!" He yells over his shoulder, I let out a sigh of relief as I watch him walk in to the living area and grab a glass of water to calm my nerves. Maybe I should text Audrey...

Hey Audrey we still on for lunch? I text her praying she will say yes. After about 10 minutes she still hasn't answered so I decide to text her again.

Would you like me to pick you up? She answers pretty quickly this time agreeing to me picking her up and I leave right away.

"Bye Lou!" I shout over my shoulder whilst walking out the door I hear a faint comment about getting it in and smirk knowing he is only kidding around. I drive off and suddenly realize I have no clue where she lives...

"Idiot, Idiot, Idiot." I chant under my breath as I whip my phone out to find she is one step ahead of me and has already sent me her address I send her a quick text saying I'm on my way and get back on track to Audrey's.

Audrey's POV

I decide to go outside and wait for Harry because I'm impatient... I walk outside and realize he's already here. He gets out and makes his way towards the passenger side opening it for me kindly.

"Thank You" I say, my cheeks turning bright pink as I climb in to his extremely nice car.

I watch as he walks back around to his side and hops in to the car fastening his seat belt carefully and starting the car before heading in the direction of Hyde Park.

We start up a conversation and I realize he is very easy to talk to. Even though we just met nothing was awkward. We arrive at Hyde Park and Harry opens my door for me reaching over to grab a basket which I'm assuming has food in it.

"Where do you want to go?'" Harry asks as we enter the park

"How about over there" I say biting my lip and pointing in the direction of a peaceful looking shaded spot under a tree.

"Looks perfect" He says smiling and taking my hand in his.

after we get settled in our spot under the tree he takes out different kinds of food. We both start to eat and talk, enjoying each other's company.

"Harry?"

"Yes?"

"What is this?" I ask gesturing around us.

"Well I don't know. What do you want it to be?" he askes.

"umm not a date..."

"Ouch right in the self-esteem" He jocks holding a hand over his heart as if I have wounded him.

I laugh "Sorry, not that I don't want to date you but you know we just met yesterday" I say carefully.

He stifles a laugh "I know Audrey, I don't expect that from you, how about we just call it a nondate?" he chuckles

I laugh "Okay that sounds perfect." I say laughing again. The rest of the nondate went awesome and I'm really beginning to like Harry. We got to know each other better and it was really fun.

"Audrey I think it's gonna rain" He says cautiously.

"Shit" I curse under my breath as we both scramble to pick everything up. Just as we got out of the shade of the tree a down pour started forcing us to race to the car.

"I soo won!" I shout over the sound of rain drops there was no point in trying to get in the car quickly because we were both already soaked.

"No way I won by a long shot!" he shouts back sticking his tongue out at me, in a cute way. He took a step forward and I didn't notice he was leaning in until it was to late, I gasped as he pressed his warm lips against my cold ones, giving his tongue a free pass in to my mouth but he didn't take it gladly. He sensed how uncomfortable I was and pulled away.

"Audrey I'm so sorry" he said as if it took him by as much surprise as me.

"Forget it, it's fine, just don't bring it up again okay? Especially to Louis, Please?"

A wave of hurt came over Harrys face and he nods walking to his side of the car as I get in. The ride home was uncomfortably silent and I left regretting being so harsh.

"Goodbye Audrey and I really am sorry I hope you know that" He said giving me a sincere look.

I nod "Harry its fine don't sweat it, see ya around." I say slamming the door and waving in his direction before running to my door to avoid the the rain.
