Chapter 21- Dinner And A Midnight Swim?

Audrey's POV

I almost groan as Harry and Liam enter the house interrupting my talk with Louis, I was hoping he would ask me today I just wish he would have done it sooner so we could talk about it. After sticking around downstairs to talk to Harry and Liam for a while I nudge Louis and my eyes dart to the stairs, he gives me a confused look and I sigh.

"I'm just gonna go upstairs and plug my phone in." I say swiftly, "Louis do you know where my charger is?" I bat my eyelashes at him hinting for him to follow me upstairs but he still sits on the couch one eyebrow raised as he looks up at me. I groan walking towards him and grasping his arm dragging him off the couch and towards the stairs.

"We're going upstairs." I mumble as he regains his balance and follows me up the stairs and in to his room.

"I have seriously met six year olds smarter than you." I say shaking my head and holding back the smile that is currently making its way on to my face, he shrugs taking a step towards me a smirk playing on his lips.

"Okay so a-about what you said earlier." I say as he steps closer to me again making me nervous.

"Yeah?" He says his hand tucking a small strand of hair behind my ear leaving me breathless under his touch.

"I-I" I am speechless his right hand lowers to my waist and his left brushes up and down my arm stealing my ability to speak.

"So? Will you go on a date with me?" He asks again as my breath hitches and I gulp nodding my head slightly and looking in to his eyes. He smiles brightly and leans in, I expect him to kiss my lips and I close my eyes waiting for his lips to touch mine only for them to gently peck my cheek before loosing contact completely. My breathing becomes regular again and I open my eyes to see Louis two feet away with a small smirk on his face.

"We'll leave later tonight then? Say seven?" He asks and I nod walking towards the door, I need to get out of this room before Louis' presence intoxicates me.

"Where are you going angel?" He asks stepping in front of me.

"I was going to go back downstairs and regain some of my confidence." I laugh trying to ease the tension that Louis doesn't seem to acknowledge at all. He chuckles most likely noticing the blush that has crept on to my cheeks in embarrassment of out previous encounter.

"Awh you're blushing." He smiles embarrassing me further as I try to brush past him. "I think it's cute." He adds taking my hand and leading me back in the room.

"Actually I should get ready." I say starting to push him out of the room. "What should I dress for?" I ask not knowing where Louis wants to take me.

"Just dress casual."

"Where are we going?"

"That's for me to know and for you to find out." He says clicking his tongue before leaving the room for me to stress out.

I snatch my favourite chiffon button up top and dark blue skinny jeans making my way to the washroom, I place my iPhone on the dock shuffling my playlist And undressing before hopping in the shower to the tune of Boomerang by The Summer Set. After scrubbing my body clean I jump out quickly wrapping a fluffy towel around my shivering body and drying my self. I grab my clothes and quickly put them on opening the cabinet below the sink to find my blow dryer. Spotting in the back I pick it up and plug it in turning it on and focusing on my hair, once my hair is completely dry I curl it loosely pulling two parts from the front and pinning them to the back of my head with a pink bow that matches the color of my chiffon top. I then set to work on my make up, I've never been big on foundation so I settle for some BB cream and light powder in attempt to hide my flaws, I apply some light shimmery eye shadow to the inner corners of my eyes and a light brown to my lids then outlining my eyes with black eye liner and curl my lashes applying mascara and some coral lipstick before standing to observe my appearance in the full length mirror. The only thing missing is shoes, I step in to my closet picking out a pair of gold flats, stepping in to them I take a few gold bangles to add to the look and smile.
