Chapter 24- Rude awakening

Madi's POV

"MADII HURRY UPPP!" Audrey screams followed by laughter coming from downstairs, I sigh descending the stairs two steps at a time, jumping to the bottom with a thud.

"Sorry." I say slipping my shoes on and following the rest of the crew outside.

Todays the day I thought, climbing in to the car. Todays the day we bring home Zayn I'm worried about how he will react and how much progress he has made since the last time I saw him, but I guess we'll just have to take it one step at a time. Audrey and I should be leaving soon, theres no need of us living off them (aside from the whole sharing a room with Niall I would love that to continue.) as soon as we know Zayn is okay and the boys can handle themselves were off, back to the apartement. I should be looking for my own apartement but I like living with Audrey and she likes living with me so why not just stay? Her mom pays for the apartement and pretty much everything for Audrey by sending her a cheque every month so I'm not being a burden or anything.

"C'mon Madi, I'm sure Zayn wants out of this hell hole as soon as possible." Harry states nudging me out of the van.

I say nothing, dragging my feet against the slightly wet pavement as we all make our way towards the hospital in which they have been keeping Zayn.

"You ready to head out buddy?" Audrey coos as Zayn sits up in bed and nods rubbing his eyes.

"Heres your clothes." Liam says handing Zayn a folded up pile of clothing to change in to, he got up heading towards the curtain seperating us.

"So is the house still in one peice?" Zayn laughs from behind the curtain.

"Surprisingly yes but thats thanks to Audrey and Madi." Louis chuckles back placing his arm around Audrey as she blushed looking up at him.

"So how long are you guys staying?" Zayn asks stepping out from behind the curtain whilst running his fingers threw his hair.

"Uh not much longer." I state looking towards Audrey as Louis shuffles closer to her bowing his head.

"Why is that?" Niall asks furrowing his brows.

"Well we can't live off you forever, we have our own flat that needs to be maintaned." Audrey says helping me out.

"So tell the owner you don't want it anymore and stay with us." Harry eggs on looking at Audrey.

"It's not that simple." she sighs looking at the ground.

"Why not?" Louis adds

"It's just not okay? can we not talk about this right now? Lets just get Zayn home and we'll talk about it later." Audrey says raising her voice slightly before quickly leaving the room dragging Louis behind.

Audrey's POV

"I'm just a little stressed out about this whole situation." I sigh pacing the floor of the room I have been sharing with Louis.

"Audrey you need to stand back and take a breath, there's nothing to stress over."

I sigh once again for what feels like the hundreth time today, taking a seat on the bed next to Louis and resting my head on his shoulder.

"I hope you know that once you and Madi go back to you're flat it won't change anything."

"What's there to change?" I ask tilting my head to look in to his eyes.

"Us." He says simply yet thoughtfully.

"What exactly is us?" I ask looking down to my fingers that have began to fiddle in my lap.
