Chapter 16- Give it time

Chapter 16  

Liam's POV 

Things have been pretty hectic since we left the hospital. Audrey has been taking it really hard though Louis insisted her and Madi come stay with us for the next couple weeks until they're back on their feet which all us boys agreed to. We have been going to visit Zayn at least once a day and It is very confusing. One day we will come in and there will be hope, he'll let us in and talk to us, talk about his pain and how he feels about what he witnessed and we all listen intently. But the next he will completely shut us out and not even talk until we leave the room. These last couple weeks have been very stressful but luckily One Direction has been put on hold until we say we're ready to get back out there and speak about the accident.  

"Liam?" Niall pulls me from my thoughts trying to get my attention. 

"Sorry... Yes?"  

"I'm hungry." He complains frowning 

"Well make some food Niall." I sigh as he sits next to me placing a hand on my shoulder. 

"You okay mate?" He asks 

"Yes I'm fine just thinking." He reluctantly gets up from the couch walking towards the kitchen. 

I get up and walk to my room for a shower maybe it will help me forget about all this, momentarily anyways.

Madi's POV  

I lay down next to Audrey who is currently sprawled out over Louis' bed which she had been sleeping in the past week. 

"Audrey babe, you need to get out of bed eventually. Have a shower brush your teeth eat. You haven't gone to see Zayn all week in sure he misses you." I coo attempting to get her out of Louis' bed so I could at least make it or something. 

"Doubt it." she mumbles,  

her voice muffled by the pillow over her face. 

"Audrey I'm giving you five minutes to be out of this bed or I will drag you." I say sternly leaving the room whilst tapping the watch around my wrist and heading to the living room where the rest of the boys are sitting around except for Louis. 

"Where's Louis?" I ask curiously. 

"The Loo." Harry states looking to the ground. 

I leave walking back to the room where Audrey is currently lying on the floor tangled in a duvet. 

"I need that." I say snatching it from her and pulling her to her feet only for her to groan and sit back down on the floor. 

"I can't do this." She cries bursting in to tears on the floor and pulling her knees to her head. 

"Awe babe yes you can we'll make it through this, I promise." I say taking a seat next to her and rubbing her back gently. 

"Now. Go shower and get freshened up please. You haven't been out of bed for like a week unless it was essential." 

"Fine." She groans slowly making her way towards the washroom and closing the door. Minutes later I hear the shower running and I smile stripping the bed of its sheets and replacing them just as Louis walks in giving me a questioning look. 

"Where's Audrey?" He asks looking around. 

"I got her to take a shower." I say proudly. 

"Oh well that's good and why are you making my bed?" 

"Because Audrey had the sheets all jumbled from tossing and turning." I say concentrating on making the bed as Louis walks to his dresser and takes clothes From it leaving the room silently.
