Chapter 20- Mean Girls

Madi's POV

I sit up in bed stretching and looking around the room only for my gaze to fall on the empty space next to me. Where did Niall go? He must have gotten up early, I shrug not thinking much of it as I climb out of bed and slowly make my way to the washroom. I didn't get much sleep last night due to the screaming coming from the living room. I am assuming they watched a horror film last night but I was to tired to go see what was going on and Niall slept through it being as insane as he is.

I look in the mirror gently wiping beneath my eyes and fluffing my hair a bit before exiting the room and heading towards the kitchen to find Liam and Harry sat on bar stools whilst Niall rummaged through cabinets.

"Good morning." I smile towards Harry and Liam as they mumble greetings obviously not in the mood to talk due to the time of day.

"Good morning." Niall says back returning the smile and I sit in a bar stool as he pulls out a box of blueberry pop tarts.

"Where are Audrey and Louis?" I ask looking around for someone to answer my question.

"They won't be down for a while." Harry says snickering at Liam.

"Oh?" I question looking over my shoulder as I stick a blueberry pop tart in the toaster.

"Yeah, they were probably up late last night." Harry laughs and I decide to let it go and focus on not burning one of the only things I can manage to cook at the moment due to my lack of knowledge in the kitchen.

"You're Pop tarts burnt." Niall states as he walks past me to sit at the dining table.

"No your poptarts burnt." I say as he turns to give me a confused look I snatch a pop tart from his plate and quickly set my burnt one in its place snickering at his pouty face when he turns and realizes I tricked him.

"That's no fair!" He shouts frowning down at his plate.

"Finders keepers. " I shout back sticking my tongue out in his direction.

After finishing my pop tart I go in to the living room with intentions of watching television when I spot Audrey slowly making her way down the stairs her eyes half closed and her hair in a tangled mess at her shoulders her make up has circled her eyes giving the illusion that she is a racoon and I smile as she walks in to the kitchen.

"Have a nice sleep?" Liam asks playfully, She flips him off grabbing a glass and filling it with orange juice.

"Shut up asshole." She says taking a seat next to Harry as he laughs at Liam.

Shortly after Louis comes down the stairs still in his pajamas in the same state as Audrey. His hair in a jumbled mess and his eyes heavy he repeats Audrey's routine grabbing a glass of orange juice and not hesitating to flip Liam off when he makes a sarcastic remark about how they slept last night.

"Shut up douche bag." Louis huffs sitting at the table.

I giggle leaving the room only to be stopped by Niall.

"Hey Madi will you come with me to the mall today?" He asks rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah, sure what do you need to get?"

"Well my sister Talia's birthday is coming up soon, she's turning 15 and I was wondering if you could help me find her the perfect gift." He says nervously. (A/N I know Niall doesn't have a sister but just go with it.)

"Of course Niall! Just give me some time to get ready and we can go." I say with a smile turning and heading to my room.

I pull on a pink crop top and black skinny jeans taking my time to pull my hair back in to a complicated braid and apply my make up, I hear a knock on the door and make my way to the door to answer it.
