When He Asks You On a Date (Riku)

Since your's and Riku's room's are across from each other, you and him talked for the longest times.   After all, he was your best friend.   However, today you couldn't tell riku that you couldnt take to him, because you have laryngitis. 

When you heard Riku throw a softball at your window, you immediately didn't want to open the curtains.  The softball kept bouncing off your window for a few minutes then it stopped.   You wondered if Riku gave up on trying to get you to open your window.   You wanted to tell him, but your phone charger was broken and you left your phone downstairs where your mom's charger is.  Suddenly, you heard the doorbell go off.   "Please oh please don't let it be Riku." you pleaded inside your mind.  

As if on cue, someone knocked on your door.   You immediately stood up and went to answer it, but full of regret.   On the other side was none other than Riku.   "Hey are you okay?"  he asked.

You simply shook your head and held your throat.  "What's wrong?" he asked. 

You quickly remembered about your laptop having a voice app on it.   You quickly grabbed it and typed in what you wanted to tell him.  "I have laryngitis." the robotic voice app said.  

You looked at Riku, who had a surprised look on his face.  "Is that why you didn't open your curtains?"  he asked. 

You nodded.  

"That's it.   I'm helping take care of you." he said.

You shook your head and typed on your laptop, which immediately spoke for you once you pressed enter.  "I'm fine Riku.  I don't know if laryngitis is contagious." 

"Hey, I'll be fine.  Besides, I'm helping out a friend."  he said, smiling.

Immediately, you sat down on your bed and looked up at him.   Even though he was your best friend, you knew this argument was pointless, so you just gave him want he wanted.  "Thanks for cooperating with me." he said. 

You just shook your head.  You hated having him look after for you like this.   "Is there anything I can get for you?"  Riku asked. 

You thought about it and shook your head. "Really?  Nothing.   Something to drink?  Eat?  A date with your next door neighbor/best friend?  A movie for you to watch?"

You thought about what he asked, and then you thought you heard him ask you on a date.  You quickly grabbed your laptop and typed in a phrase.  "a date?"  it spoke.

"Really?  You want a date?" he asked.  "Okay, once you feel better, we will watch the Maze Runner." (if you haven't seen it, please watch it. )

You looked at him wide eyed.  He seriously just set up a date for you and him, without your say in it.   You felt like he did this on purpose, but you silently sighed.  Riku won this time, but the next time you were destined to win this next argument.

Hey guys!!  So if you read my Fairy Tail fanfic Her Iron Knight, you should already know this, but I have a messed up schedule tomorrow.  Let me explain why it has been messed up.   I told my work that I would be unable to work on Thursdays because I have school in the evening and my schoolwork usually takes me all day to complete.  So I had to complete my schoolwork for tomorrow today, so I would be able to go to work without worrying about getting it done on time.   So unfortunately, I will not be updating any of my books tomorrow. 

Sorry guys.
