When You Admit Your Feelings for Him (Riku)

After your laryngitis was gone, and after the date you walked into with Riku, you seemed like everything was changing. You felt as though Riku was closer to you.

You walked down the sidewalk, coming back from Kairi's house, and you were soaking in the sunlight. You looked at the clouds and noticed some of them made shapes like turtles, trees, and hearts. You looked closer at a specific cloud, and noticed it looked like a person. The cloud seemed to move, looking down at you and it looked like it smiled. Then you noticed it looked like Riku. You rubbed your eyes and looked back it the cloud, seeing it was shaped like a flower.

"Weird." you said, as you continued to make your way back home. You walked into your house. "Mom! I'm home!" you called, shutting the front door. It wasn't like she didn't know, but she was working. You walked into your room, and all of your posters and pictures seemed to be all of Riku. You squealed a little in fear and rubbed your eyes again. They were the same as they were before. "What's going on? Why am I seeing Riku everywhere?" you asked yourself.

You faceplanted on you bed. So many thoughts going through your mind. "what if I'm seeing him so much, because I like him?" you asked yourself. "No. I can't like him that way. We are just best friends, that's all. Wait. What if he took me on that date because he likes me? But he can't like me like that can he? He just wanted me to feel welcome to being around here. But I feel as though he wants to be more than friends. His beautiful eyes look promising, and trusting, and...Stop this (Y/N)!" you grabbed your head in frustration.

Your cheeks were heating up. You were blushing, because you were going through so many emotions of Riku. You pulled your face into a pillow and screamed. "I like Riku. I can't believe it. I have feelings for Riku!" you mind said.

Suddenly, your phone rang. You look at the screen and see that Riku is calling you.  You through your phone back on the bed and pulled your knees to your chest. You were breathing heavily. "What should I do? He's calling. What if he is going to tell me he doesn't like me?"

You quickly picked up and answered the call. "H-Hello?" You asked.

"(Y/N), you left your ring over at Kairi's." Riku said.

"I-I did?!" you asked. You then looked down at your hand and noticed your favorite ring wasn't on your finger. "I-I'll come b-back and get it." You stuttered.

"(Y/N), are you okay? You sound like something just scared you." Riku said.

"Uh...yeah, I...uhm...saw a spider in my room. Th-that's all." you lied.

"Okay, do you want me to bring your ring back?" he asked. "That way I can get that spider for you?"

"uhmm...I'll just come and get it. Besides, my mom got the spider for me. I'm fine now." you lied.

"Okay, are you sure?" he said.

"Yeah. Besides its a nice day to be outside." you said, getting off of the bed and heading towards your door.

"Okay, see you when you get here." he said, then hung up.

You walked out of your house, thinking about what happened and you tried to avoid looking at the clouds walking back to Kairi's house.
