When You Meet (Demyx)

You were the daughter of the biggest music producer known, yet you hated it.  You never got to spend time with your father.  He was always busy making albums and never paid attention to anything else.  The reason of this, he wanted to make sure that his family was well supported financially.  You wanted to make sure that you spent every moment that he had free with him as much as possible. 

One day, you decided to take a walk in the park, and you took your guitar with you.  You wanted to be famous, and but you knew that your father was too busy in the studio to pay attention to your dreams.

You sat on a bench, that was in front of the big oak tree in the middle of the park, and pulled your guitar from out of the case.  After you tuned the strings, you started playing Cruise by Florida Georgia Line (please don't hate, and Forgive me if you don't like that song) and singing along to the words. 

(I am not going to write out the lyrics, sorry.)

After you finished the song, you tried to think of another song to play that you knew.  "That was amazing."  you heard a boy say.  You looked up to see a boy with cyan eyes, and his hair styled in a mullet.  He also had a guitar case on his back.  "Thanks, but I am an amateur at this."  you said, accidentally strumming a few chords.

"Really?  Because you sound professional."  he said, taking a seat next to you.  "I'm Demyx, by the way." He held his hand out.  You took his hand and shook it.  "(Y/N)." you introduced.  Demyx smiled, and brought his guitar out.  "Do you know anything else besides 'Cruise'?"

"Yeah, the hard part about paying songs, is actually picking the song you want to play." you said.  "But I know 'My Wish' and "God Bless the Broken Road' both by Rascal Flatts, 'Centuries' by Fall Out Boy, Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru, and much more."

"Why don't you play 'Centuries'?" Demyx asked.  "I like that song."

"Okay." You said, getting your guitar back into position.  As you started playing the song, Demyx eventually joined  by playing the harmony to the song, and singing with you.  You were shocked and continued to sing to the song, as the guitars synchronized in melody and harmony. 

After you finished, you smiled. "I...that was amazing Demyx." 

"You weren't bad either (Y/N)." he said, with a smile.  "If you want, I can lend you some of the songs I have learned, and help you learn them."

"That sounds good." you said.  You look at the sun and see that it is setting.  "Well, looks like I have to get back home." You packed your guitar and stood up, and carried it on your back.  "I'll see you around, Demyx." you said to him and smiling. 

"Yeah, see you around." he said.  With that, you walked home, and couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day.

Hey everybody, sorry I didn't update sooner, I was busy with work and school.  But here is the next chapter, and this chapter is dedicated to my good friend booyakasha17.  Demyx is her favorite character from the Kingdom Hearts series, so this chapter is a special shout out to her.  I hope you love it.

Anyway, there is one more...Vanitas.  I know how to potray this character.  Until the next chapter...
