When He Sees You "Acting Strange" (Roxas)

Olette waa driving you crazy!! She wouldn't stop asking you questions about who you were in love with. Of course you didn't tell her, but you avoided her by doing the only thing you thought about: chores and errands.

All week, you always made sure that you were busy with doing something, whether it was serious as getting groceries, or ridiculous as sweeping the sidewalks of the alleys. Either way, when you came home, you always made sure your house was well cleaned and not a single speck of dust was on the counter top.

However, today was going to be different, and you didn't know what to expect. As you walked towards the market, you happened to run into the gang. "Hey (Y/N)!" Pence said. "Still running around doing errands?"

"Yep. And as usual, I won't be able to hang out today. You won't believe the list I have today." you said.

"You know, (Y/N),"Hayner said. "These errands and chores don't seem like you have to do them. I mean, you literally went to Sunset Terrace and watered the the day after it rained. Are you sure you aren't just asking these up?"

"Yep...I'm sure!" you said, giggling nervously. "Well, I should get going!" You turned to walk away, however, you were stopped when Roxas spoke. "(Y/N) why don't you let us help you? It would get it done so much faster and you could hang out with us."

"Roxas does have a point. Let us help you." Olette said. "And you know I don't take any form of no for answer." She gave you the look.

You became nervous. You knew Olette knew you liked somebody, and having her tag along was only gonna make you more nervous than you really are. But she was right, she doesn't take "no" for an answer. You sigh in defeat. "Fine, but if I hear a peep of complaints, you guys will stop helping me and I will finish the rest."

"Okay."

"Cool."

"Whatever."

"Yeah."

With that, you split up into teams. "Hey, how about we turn this into a competition?" Pence suggested. "Who ever finishes the errands last, will have to buy the ice cream for the rest of us."

"Yeah!" everybody said.

"There's no way I'm gonna lost this time!" you said, remembering your last defeat.

"You gonna eat your own words again?" Hayner asked.

"Nope!" you said.

"Fine, it will be me, Pence and Olette, versus you and Roxas." he said.

You stiffened. Then smile and shook it off. Being on a team with Roxas isn't exactly what you had in mind, especially since you saw Olette giving you a scary stare like she was thinking something. "Okay, first ones to finish and get to the Sandlot first wins!" you said.

"Alright, let the race begin!" Hayner said.

~*Time Skip*~

After you had finished almost your half of the list, with Roxas, you sighed and took a deep breath. "Almost done." you said.

"All that's left is to get the groceries and get to the sandlot." Roxas said.

"That's easy. I already made a list of what to get." you said, turning towards the store

"Before we go, I have something to ask you." he said. You quickly stiffened. "Can it wait?" you asked nervously.

"No, it can't." he answered. "Now, why are you doing all of these errands?" he asked. "They seem pointless. You used to do a few chores everyday, but now it is a constant all-day everyday thing. Why are you doing this?"

"I...i...uhm..." you started stuttering, but you quickly thought of a way to avoid the question. "Look, as much as I want to answer that, I don't wanna lost this race, so can we hurry and get going. We have one more thing to take care of."

"Is it because you are avoiding Olette's questions about who you like?" he asked.

You went white as a sheet. Shock written all over your face. "How do you know about that?"

"She told us about what you are doing. She had this theory while you were running errands everyday that you like somebody and refuse to tell her. So in order to keep you from telling her, you're coming up with excuses to not cross paths with her. Is it true?" he asked. "And please tell me the truth. I know how you hate lying."

You were speechless. Olette's theory was right. You looked down and you nodded your head. "Yes. It's true. I'm sorry."

"(Y/N), is the person you like, me?" he asked. You lifted your head up and your eyes widened. How did he know? You thought.

"Please, just tell me. It's just a simple yes or..."

"Yes..." you spoke.

You heard him gasp in shock. What was going to happen? Was he gonna reject you? Was he gonna spread rumors? You were so scared of his next move. Suddenly, you are embraced with two arms. You turned your head to see Roxas...hugging you. "(Y/N)...you just made this easier on me..." he said.

You became scared. But relaxed when he asked, "Will you go out with me?"

It took a minute for you to figure it out, but you slowly smiled and said. "I'd love to."

With that, you turned around and hugged him, completely forgetting your race.
