When He Sees You "Acting Strange" (Sora)

After you learned about your feelings for Sora, you tried really hard to control your actions. You knew Sora was concerned about you. All you had to do was try not to think about him as much or your date with him. Your distraction: reading a ton of books.

Yes, you shoved as many books in your backpack, with the exception of your textbooks. When you got the free time, you simply pulled out a book and read it. This went on for a week. When you ran out of books on your shelf, you would check out many more books at the library. It wasn't until the Thursday of the next week that it made your friends finally snap.

You walked into school, reading "The Scarlet Letter", getting ready to finish reading it so you can start "The Green Mile", when the book was snatched out of hands. "Huh?!" you said with wide eyes. You turned around and saw Kairi holding your book. "Kairi, give it back! I'm not done with it yet!" you whined.

"Not until you tell me why you are now constantly reading so many books, (Y/N)." she says, holding the open book behind her.

"I am not reading too many books!" you declared.

"Really?" she asked. "Last week, Friday, you read the entire 'Hunger Games' series, as well as the entire 'Divergent' series."

"Hey, it isn't my fault that I like those books." you came up with the excuse.

"That is a sad excuse." she said. "Monday, you walked into school reading the 'Twilight' saga. When I saw you read those books, I knew something was up."

"It's because they were the last books I had on my bookshelf." you pouted. "Now can I please have my book back, please?"

"Tell me why you are reading so many books first, then you can have it back." she said. "And consider this as payback for you not giving me my phone when I asked for it last week when you took it."

"But I gave it back to you when I came back." You pointed out, reaching for your book, but she held it farther back.

"Yeah with that picture deleted."

"I thought you were gonna send it to everybody."

"(Y/N) I was going to delete it." Kairi said. "Now tell me why you are reading all of these books."

"No! I want my book back, then I will tell you." You said, still reaching for it.

"What is going on?" you heard someone ask. Both your and Kairi's attention were drawn to Riku and Sora, who walked up. Noticing Kairi was distracted, you snatched the book out of her hand and held it close to you. "Nothing." you said, getting ready to open the book and finish reading it, when suddenly. "Don't you dare open that book, (Y/N)." Kairi said, with a scary glare and dark voice.

You ignored her and opened the book to read it again. "Your glares and voice don't work on me Kairi." you said, focusing on your reading.

You only managed to read another sentence, before the book was taken away. This time, Kairi didn't take your book; it was Sora, who was a little taller than you. You felt your cheeks heat up a little. "You know what, 'The Scarlet Letter' wasn't one of my favorites." You said, turning to your back pack to get your next novel. "Just make sure I get it back before the end of today so I can return it." you said, opening "The Green Mile", and reading it.

"(Y/N), stop reading!" Kairi said. giving your backpack to Riku before snatching your new book.

"No!" you said, with a scared face. "You guys are going to torture me. I need to read."

"Not until you tell us the reason of why you are reading so much." Riku said.

"I mean, we will see you with a book even now and then, until now, it is constant and you are reading like ten books every day."

"That's not true!" you said. "It's about eight."

"That's still a lot." Sora said.

"No it isn't." You said, with you r back turned towards Sora, while facing Kairi and Riku.

"Then why aren't you looking at Sora?" Riku asked.

Then you froze. That is what got you. "Uhhmm...I-I..."

"(Y/N)." Sora said, holding your shoulder. You tensed up, and stayed still. "You can tell me what's wrong." he said. 'But before you do..." he turned you around, and whispered into your ear. "Will you go out with me?"

You then looked at him with red cheeks. "Huh?! Are you--?"

"Yeah!" He said with a smile. "Tell you the truth, I was going to ask you last week, but you left so suddenly, then you were reading non-stop."

You blushed and smiled. "Uhh...yeah...sure." You tried to hide your blushing face, and Sora laughed. "You know, you're really cute when you do that."

"Did you guys plan this or something?"

"Yeah, if you actually paid any attention to us instead of those books, you would've seen Sora acting all love struck." Riku said.

"I was not!" He said.

"Speaking of books..." you started. "Can I have them back now?" you asked.
