My curler is heating up as I put on my eyeliner. One wrong move and I could have a girls worst nightmare of a makeup fail. I held my breath and once I finished my other eye, I put the lid on the eyeliner and then did a victory dance. I didn't fail!
My curler is finally done heating up, so I grab it and start on little pieces of my hair. It takes about twenty minutes for me to be completely ready. Today I'm going out to eat with Ethan. I have been getting ready for the past half hour. I also have decided to wear a black long sleeve dress that goes to my knees with a pair of black tall boots. Pairing it with an owl necklace, I put on my ring that my parents got me a few years ago for my birthday. It's silver and has a small purple diamond on it.
Checking the time, I see that it's time for me to go, so I grab my car keys and head out the door. The drive took about twenty minutes and I finally pulled into the parking lot of the little cafe in town. Ethan was standing outside and I turned off my car and walked to him.
"Hey." I greeted and I went in for a hug. He wrapped his arms around me and then five seconds later we pulled away from the hug and walked into the cafe. Ethan held the door for me and I nodded my head in thanks. We walked over to a little booth in the back of the cafe where there weren't many people.
The waitress came over and asked for our orders which I ordered a vanilla cappuccino and a bowl of spaghetti. Ethan ordered the same thing but with a hot chocolate instead of a cappuccino. We talked and about the party and then he told me a little bit about himself, which then I told him some stuff about me. Ethan is so sweet, and I found out that he goes to the animal shelter to volunteer. I was in aw and wanted to hear more about it.
Ethan made a joke anf I started laughing. He sat back in his seat and looked at me.
"Wow.." He whispered.
"What?" I asked.
"You're just so beautiful." Ethan replied. I looked down so he couldn't see my reddening cheeks.
"Thank you." I said. I looked back up at him and he was blushing a bit too now. I say straight and so did he so we were leaning over the table a little bit. His head was getting closer to mine and I moved mine a little bit too. We are so close that our lips almost touch. His hand came to cup my cheek and I closed my eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" He whispered. I nodded and he closed the distance between our lips. It was slow and I just wanted to smile right now. The butterflies erupted in my stomach and we pulled sway for some air after about ten seconds. We paid the bill, well really Ethan did and then we walked out of the cafe hand in hand.
Ethan walked me to my car and then I turned to look at him.
"Well-". Ethan began to speak but I pulled his head down and put my lips on his for a kiss. It didn't last long but it said so much. I really liked him and the way he makes me feel is different.
"Sorry, I just really wanted to do that." I apologized.
"You want to be my girlfriend?" Ethan blurted out. I smiled and my eyes widened.
"Yes." I answered and this time he gave me a kiss, but it was a small peck. It didn't fail to give me butterflies in my stomach though.
I got inside my car and drove home. I called Jane and Carly to tell them what happened. They squealed and demanded for all of the details.
That night I was going to bed and Ethan sent me text.
