Chapter 12

  I am so excited for school today! See the sarcasm? I can't stand the fact that I have to wake up at five in the morning for school. I take forever to get ready sometimes and so its necessary  for me to wake up that early. I have six different alarm times on that help wake me up. If there was only one, I would probably not wake up and end up being late a lot. It's happened before, so I had made the decision to set six different times.

  Today I am really not in the mood to spend so much time to get ready, so I grab some leggings, a t-Shirt, and just a pair of white converse. I let my hair stay in its natural waves and put on minimal makeup.

The parking lot like any other day, is wild and cars are going in many different directions. There were many honks and you can say that a lot of our students have bad road rage.

I finally found a parking spot and then I grabbed my backpack to go find Will. I really want to talk to him, since I haven't since the day he walked out after I got off the phone with Ethan.

Searching for about five minutes, I finally find Will standing with some of his friends. I walk up to them and ask if I can talk to Will.

"What do you want to talk about?" Will asked.

"I just wanted to say hi." I said.

"To say hi?"

"I just feel like for some reason that you're avoiding me. That one day you walked out and you haven't texted or called." I explained.

"I've been busy. So sorry if I haven't called or texted you." Will snapped. I was shocked and I lowered my head to look at the ground.

"Oh...I'm sorry." I spoke quietly. Tears pricked the corners of my eyes. I just got Will back and I feel like I'm losing him again. I didn't want him to see me cry, so I walked away and went to go to my locker without sparing him another glance.

I opened my locker and placed some things inside. Someone put their hand over my eyes.

"Guess who?" They said. I smiled instantly and turned to see Ethan. I squealed and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my cheek. I pulled away and pecked his lips.

"You okay?"  He asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay.  Just really tired."  I answered. I looked at myself from the mirror in my locker and saw that I had bags under my eyes and they were a little red from when I almost cried talking to Will. I wiped under my eyes and smiled satisfied at my appearance.

  I turned and smiled at Ethan, but before I could say anything the warning bell had rang and he kissed me on the cheek before walking away. I closed my locker door and then turned to see Will at the other end of the hall. He was looking at me and didn't seem happy at all. I turned and walked away to my class.

  The hour just dragged on. Nothing too exciting happened, well if you count learning about how to draw a square in the most complicated way fun, then I don't know what else could be exciting.   I was relieved when the bell rang and I could finally get a little break. I had ten minutes to walk around to grab my stuff and go to my next class. I found Jane and Carly walking down the hall, so I stopped to talk to them.

"I saw you and Will this morning.  Everything okay?"  Jane asked.

"Not really. I have no idea what his deal is. We were really good for a while. I just got him back and I feel like I am losing him again."  I said getting sad again.

"Oh boy.  Well, we'll talk more about this later. For now, we have two minutes to get back to class."  Carly said. I nodded and each of them gave me a hug before walking away.

Lunch. My favorite out of the day.

  I walked to my table and sat down next to Carly and Jane. They smiled and stared behind me. I turned and saw Ethan walking over.

"Hey!"  I chirped.

"Hey!"  Ethan greeted. I looked and saw two guys standing behind him, which who seem to be his friends.

"These are my friends, mind if they sit here?"  Ethan asked.

"Oh, of course they can sit here."  I said and made room for them.

"I'm Brandon."  One of them said. He has blonde hair and these unique green eyes that I have never seen in my entire life. He has a few freckles on his cheeks and nose that are barely visible. He's quite attractive.

"Hi, I'm Alice."  I smiled. He smiled back and then I looked over at the other guy who began to introduce himself.

"I'm Garret. Thanks for letting us sit here." He smiled. Garret has dark brown hair and has very tan skin. His eyes are a dark brown and he has a very nice jaw line. Both of them are attractive, but Ethan has to be the cutest to me. He's my boyfriend, so you could see why I say that.

"It's not problem at all! It's nice having more people." I replied.

  We all began talking and I begin to notice Jane and Brandon flirting with each other. Brandon just made a joke and Jane began laughing. She looked so happy right now and I smiled.

  I love seeing my friends happy. Really, I can't tell a difference between my friends and family because my friends are part of my family. Anyone ever messes with my family, they have me to deal with. I may seem like this little delicate flower but no. I will turn from zero to a hundred real quick. I laugh in my mind.

  The bell rang and I jumped in my seat. My friends, which now include Garret and Brandon, laugh at me. I smile and shake my head.

"Bye guys."  I said and Ethan kissed me on the cheek. I bump into someone when I walk out the lunch doors. I look up to see who it was and saw Will. Before I could say anything, he walked away. I can't believe this. I just turned and walked to my next class.

I just want the day to be over with already.
