"Wake up!" Carly screamed. I groaned and covered my head with a pillow.

"Alice, wake up!" She demanded.

"No." I mumbled into the pillow. I felt coldness when Carly took the blanket off me. Then she yanked the pillow away from me and I was left pillowless. I huffed and then sat up.

"Fine!" I gave in and walked to the bathroom. My hair is wild, all in different directions. I wiped my mouth to make sure there was no drool, and then I washed my face to wake myself up.

"What time is it?" I called out.

"Noon." Jane answered.

"Wow." I mumbled to myself.

I put my hair up into a messy ponytail and then went out into Carly's room. Her and Jane are dressed and sitting on her bed on their phones.

"Why're you guys dressed up?" I asked.

"Because we are going out to eat." Jane said.

"Oh okay, then I should probably get dressed into something more appropriate." I said and grabbed my bag of clothes. I walked into the bathroom and set my bag down on the toilet. I grabbed my black nike jacket with a white tank top underneath and then a pair of black leggings. I redid my ponytail and then put a little bit of makeup on. Because of the party, I'm going to have to redo my makeup anyways so there is no point in applying too much makeup. I walked out and put on my black vans and then grabbed my phone so we could go.

Carly drove again and we went to this small cafe. There's hardly anyone here, but there never really is. Don't get me wrong, this place has some of the best food I have ever tasted in my entire life. No joke. We sat at a small booth and waited for our waiter to come ask us for drinks.

"So, you ready for the party tonight?" Carly asked.

"Yeah, but it's a big one so its probably going to get a little wild. But I'm probably going to leave before anything bad happens." Jane answered.

"I hope they have soda, because I for sure don't want to drink. I can't deal with a hangover or the thought of getting caught."

"Same." Jane and Carly said in unison.

"Hi, my names Ethan and I'll be your waiter today. Can I start you off with drinks?" Our waiter suddenly arrived. I think I've seen him around school before. He's got these hazel eyes and this light brown hair. Like a sandy brown. It curls a little bit and isn't too long.

I remember Carly and Jane use to say him and I should date because we were alike. To ourselves, but still social. We prefer safe than sorry, but still adventurous. I saw Jane and Carly smirk when he came over. Ethan looked at me and smiled. I returned the smile and told him I wanted a coffee. Jane and Carly told him what they wanted and he said he would be right back.

"Alice, you should talk to him." Jane said.

"You guys have always tried to pair me with him. But, I see now maybe I should."

"Yes! She's becoming more adventurous." Carly said. Jane put her hand on her heart and pretended to cry.

"Our girls growing up." She said. Jane and Carly started to fake cry and I laughed. I got up from the table and told them I have to go to the bathroom. I did my business and then washed my hands. I walked out and stared at the ground as I walked for a minute. It wasn't a very good idea because I bumped into someone and they dropped some plates. Thank goodness they didn't break, so I bent down and picked them up.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." I said and still didn't look at the person. They bent down and put a hand on mine. I looked up and saw it was Ethan.

"Oh, hey Ethan." I said. He grabbed the plates and then stood up.

"Hey, how are you?" He asked.

"I'm good, how are you?" I replied.

"Same, just getting through the work day."

"Yeah, I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention. I was up late and then woke up at noon, and-". I babbled.

"Alice, it's okay." Ethan interrupted me. I sheepishly smiled and played with my fingers.

"Okay." I whispered and laughed a little.

"You going to the party tonight?" Ethan asked.

"I am, are you?"

"Yep." He answered.

"Hopefully I see you there." I smiled and walked away.

I went and sat back down with Carly and Jane who were smiling because they saw what happened.

Ethan delivered our food and we would smile at each other each time he came by. Jane and Carly noticed it too. They would laugh and shake their heads.

"You two can't just can't seem to take your eyes off of each other, can you?" Jane teased as I glanced at Ethan.

"Oh shush. You know I haven't had a boyfriend in a really long time, and Ethan seems really nice." I said.

"So you want him to by your boyfriend already?" Carly asked with a teasing tone.

"What I'm trying to say is that I don't know what my feelings are for Will and I don't remember the last time I liked a guy, but Ethan has happened to catch my eye. He's sweet and like you guys have said, we have many things in common." I explained. Carly and Jane nodded their heads in understanding.

We all finished our food, and we each left a five dollar bill on the table for a tip. I glanced at Ethan one more time before walking out of the cafe.

I don't know how Will feels and I don't want to hold onto him if he doesn't return the feelings. I would rather have him as my best friend than confronting him about my feelings and things become awkward between us. He's already left once and I don't want to lose him again.

Ethan is sweet and like I said before, Carly and Jane said we could be a cute couple. You may think I'm getting ahead of myself because I'm not even certain on my feelings for Will.

Carly parked her car in her driveway and then we went into her room again. It's now three in the afternoon and we decided to watch a movie before we begin to get ready. Spending ten minutes on Netflix, we finally found a movie we wanted to watch and that is The Best of Me.

Good thing we decided to watch the movie before we got ready because I would have messed up my make up from crying.

"Why are some of the best movies the ones that make you cry?" Carly cried.

"I have no idea." I cried back.

"Guys, it's five. We have to start getting ready." Jane sniffled. Carly and I nodded our heads and wiped away our tears. I hopped up and grabbed my outfit. I put it on and then looked into a mirror. I love this sweater, the cut out heart is simple, yet so cute!

I put my hair into a cute ponytail and then put on mascara, eyeliner, grey eyeshadow, light pink lipstick, and some foundation and concealer. I was done getting ready an hour later. Yes, it really takes me that long.

It happens to be because we have music on and when Sorry by Justin Beiber came on I had to dance. Jane and Carly took a video and put it on their social media accounts. I don't really care though, people will probably be jealous of my amazing dance movies. Sarcasm was laced in that sentence for those who didn't catch that. I am not a good dancer, but I still love to do it anyways.

Carly was finished getting ready soon after me. She wore her white shirt and jacket. Her dark blonde hair is in a messy bun (which is cute these days, I love the messy bun look!), and she's wearing mascara, eyeliner, and a light brown smokey eye.

Then there was Jane, she had her floral outfit with her black hair straightened. She has on mascara, eyeliner, and a grey smokey eye.

They both look really good. What's a party without some selfies. We all took out our phones and began to take some pictures. Checking the time, we realized its best if we leave because it's seven.

The party should be starting now as the sun is beginning to go down. The sky is like an orange and purple color. It's beautiful.

Let's party!
