Luke got to school the next day after having the most fun that he'd ever had the previous night with Michael, watching the stars in his backyard. Michael left at around 9:00, which his parents were both strangely alright with.

Luke really loved spending time with Michael, but he especially loved talking about space with him. Michael was so passionate about it, and Luke had never known anyone who was that passionate about something. He thought it was pretty cute.

In the short time since Luke had first seen the flyers advertising the space club, he and Michael went from not acknowledging each other in the halls, to exchanging small waves, to actually stopping to say hello. They had each made the right decision that day in the hall, to stop and look at the poster, and to talk about the club. If they hadn't, they wouldn't be planning not-date dates fro once Luke was free of his grounding.

Luke went about his day at school, seeing Michael only a handful of times. He didn't share any classes with Michael this semester, and wasn't sure if they even shared anything in the second semester.

Luke went to his locker, to drop off some textbooks, and grab the ones he needed for is next classes, but as he opened the door, he saw a note on the bottom of his locker, in amongst old gum wrappers, lost assignments, and a pair of broken headphones.

Luke picked the note up, seeing it being written in purple glitter pen, knew it was from Michael. There was a little doodle of an alien on the front, surrounded by little planets and stars. Luke turned the card over, to read in Michael's cute handwriting "Are you an alien? Cause you've abducted my heart."

Luke was flattered, the note was adorable. He couldn't believe that Michael had tucked a note into his locker, it was so sweet of him.

He turned around to leave his locker, and head off to his next class, but when he turned around, Michael was standing right next to him.

"Thank you, Mikey." Luke smiled, holding the note. He leaned in to give Michael a hug, and Michael stood on his tiptoes to reciprocate the gesture.

"I love you, Lukey." Michael said. '"A lot."

"I know." Luke replied. "Me too, Mikey."

The two stood holding onto each other for several moments in the hallway, people walking past and watching them, but Luke didn't really care. He had to watch the football jocks suck their girlfriends' faces off all the time, why did he have to stop hugging Michael?

"I can't wait until you're not grounded anymore, Luke." Michael said, pulling away. "I have so many things I want to show you."

"Well, there's only a week left. It'll be over before you know it, and we can go wherever we want." Luke smiled.

"Including the café?" Michael asked.

"Including the café." Luke agreed.
