20 minutes before Chapter 7

Loki:

He could barely stand it. Barely able to hold back his anger as he watched the mortal tear apart his daughter. His stomach boiled, his skin burned, and his anger flared. His anger was a dangerous enemy. That girl had made the worst mistake of her life.

He wanted to hug his beautiful daughter. He wanted to soothe her, but no one could know who he really was. She'd abandon him. She'd leave him behind, her heart broken, and, as such, waited.

He waited until she ran off, and the gargoyles cawed and laughed around her locker, like a flock of vultures. He created another outfit, a comfortable, themed outfit since he knew his daughter would need a change of clothes, and still wanted her to wear a costume.

He walked out, holding in his temper, keeping his face cool. He pushed past the girls with a quiet nod of hello and shoved the clothes in the locker. They giggled behind their hands and pointed, rolling their eyes.

They obviously couldn't tell a god when they saw one. Well, he would show them. "What do you think I'd do if I saw what you did to my daughter?" He hissed, turning toward them.

"Like you could do anything." The tallest one clipped over to him, glaring up at him. She wore high heels and was generally tall, but Loki still towered over her, his emotions thundering inside him like the end of time. "You're just as wimpy as her. You couldn't possibly touch me." She spat. Her little gaggle giggled.

Loki grabbed her arm roughly and she tensed, her eyes widening. But she didn't look scared. Well, he'd fix that. That's what he did best. He sent pain. Horrible, burning, venomous pain like that which poured into his face from the snake, up her arm. The pain throughout her body, not injuring her physically.

She screamed. Loki relished the scream. He morphed the other's minds. They walked away like they didn't see anything, like they were going to lunch, knowing she'd follow behind.

The girl struggled and he let go. She fell hard. She screamed, not in pain anymore, but in horror. Loki grinned. No one messed with his daughter.

Tiffi:

All she saw was darkness. The lights went out in school. She couldn't remember what had happened, but she sure felt sore. She stumbled to her feet and let out a scream as something cold touched her back.

She wheeled around, but nothing was there. Time seemed to slow. She just wanted to get out of there... She started to run toward the cafeteria when suddenly two blue eyes appeared out of the semi darkness. They glowed and the growl of a wolf echoed all around her.

She stumbled back and took back down the other way, only to be stopped by a serpent, glaring at her with green eyes the color of poison. Her frantic dash continued like this until she finally got to the lunch room, where everything was bright and normal.

She warily sat down. She didn't even want to know what had just happened.
