Hiyaaa. No words really. Just read. Enjoy! (:
[Yes I'm aware that's not what they actually say..but imaging it is just as adorable. Such boyfriends.]
______
Luke.
Calum and I were at home with Stefan, spending time together as a family. We were sitting in front of our tv together. Calum's feet were hurting lately (because of the swelling) so I found myself sitting up against the couch with Calum's feet on my lap. I massaged them the way Calum wanted to me, because if I didn't he would come after me, because if his mood swings.
I didn't want to go back down that road after I pulled away from our cuddle session last week, because of reading I had to do.
Meanwhile, Stefan sat on the other side of the couch, watching the movie, 'Up', intently. His eyes shot around, following the action on the tv.
Mr. Frederickson and Russell were running from Charlies Muntz and his dogs when I got a call.
Confused, I reached out for the coffee table and grabbed my phone. I looked at the screen to see Michael's name on the screen.
I accepted the call and brought the phone up to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Luke? Thank the lord you answered!" He praised.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Lillie is in labor! You and Calum need to get to the hospital right now because I have no idea what to do when she actually starts to-"
"Michael! Calm down. Just take deep breaths. Help Lillie through the process. We'll be there as fast as we can," I calmly told him.
"See? This is exactly why I called you, because you have experience! You have actually gone through what I am going through!" He yelled.
"Michael!" I yelled.
"What?" He yelled.
"Stop. Yelling. Go comfort Lillie. Go breath with her. Calum and I will be there soon," I told him.
"Okay. Okay," he said.
I hung up and took Calum's feet off of my lap and paused the movie. Stefan started whining in protest, which I was temporarily ignoring.
"What was that about?" Calum asked, assuming he heard the yelling.
"It was Michael," I replied, exasperated, "Lillie went into labor, and Michael's freaking out."
Calum's eyes widened.
"Well then what are we doing here? Let's get to the hospital," Calum told me, climbing onto his feet, "I'll call your parents and see if they can watch Stefan for a couple of hours, since my dad is out working."
I nodded as Calum started to walk to Stefan's room. I turned off the movie and the TV and started to follow him, only to be stopped by something tugging at my pants. I looked down, seeing Stefan standing and holding onto the bottom of my pants.
"Daddy, movie," he whined.
"Sorry bud, but we have to go see Auntie Lili. We'll watch up later," I old him.
"No," he pouted.
"Stef, let go of daddy," I told him, "we can watch it later. Daddy and I have to go see Auntie Lili."
"No!" He screamed, before he fell on his back and cried on the floor.
I groaned in frustration. Stefan was good with listening and not having to cry all the time. With the few, rare moments he did cry, it was hard to make him stop.
