Calum.
*about 10 in the morning*
I gently rocked Alissa in my arms, making sure she stayed quiet and asleep for Luke.
Luke had stayed awake the entire night to watch her and make sure nothing mad would happen to her. I told him he didn't have to, but he did. It made me suspicious of why, but then I went back to our conversation of her first date. He'd been extremely protective of her ever since. To prove it, he stayed up all night to watch her while I slept.
Once I woke up in the morning, he gently laid her in my arms then fell on a chair where he fell asleep instantly.
"Daddy's been too protective of you lately. He's scared of all the boys you're going to be pulling in when you're older," I told her, "I'll try to not be as protective as him, if that makes you feel better."
I kissed her forehead.
"I wasn't lying when I said you'd pull in all the boys. Your daddy and I will just have to make sure you pull in the right boys. If you pull in the right boys, we'll be more flexible on you going on dates. Deal?"
Alissa softly gurgled, as if she could hear and understand me.
I smiled.
"Deal."
I suddenly hear a knock at the door. I looked up.
"Come in."
The door opened, revealing my dad and Stefan, who my dad was holding.
Stefan looked at me then at Luke, who Stefan looked happier to see. My dad saw, and gently put Stefan down on the ground. My dad sat down in one of the chairs while Stefan ran towards Luke.
"Daddy!"
Stefan clung onto Luke's leg and started to shake it. Luke jumped, which ultimately woke him up. He looked irritated at first, but the look disappeared when he saw Stefan tugging at his leg. He softly smiled and picked up Stefan and placed him on his lap.
"Hey baby. Were you good for grandpa?"
Stefan nodded.
"Grandpa said I was good boy."
"Well that's good Stef. That's what daddy and I needed you to be while we got your little sister," Luke told him.
Stefan looked up at me while I smiled and nodded, fixing my grip on Alissa.
"I'm assuming that's my new granddaughter," my dad suddenly said, moving the chair to the other side of the bed.
"Yes it is," I told him.
"Could...could I hold her?" He asked.
"Of course."
Aaron then leaned over towards me. I gently placed Alissa in his arms. He gently rocked her as she continued to sleep.
"What's her name?"
"Alissa Anne Hemmings-Hood," I replied.
"Her name makes her sound like a princess," my dad pointed out.
"She is, and probably will be, because Luke is going to be the one to spoil her," I joked.
"That is not true. I'm not going to spoil her," Luke quickly denied.
