Chapter 6/ Cafeteria

We finally made it to lunch, but I had to pee so I told Verena that she should go to Mark and reserve a place for me.
J: "I'll be back in 5 minutes !" I shouted but she didn't hear it.

I went to the toilets and refreshed my face, applied some mascara and fixed the rest of my face...
I kept going ,telling myself ,that this was just a little puberty thing. So I took a deep breath in and out and walked to Mark's and Verena's table. We always sit there. We three on a table made for 4 people. The 4th one is always empty .

As I grabbed my lunch Verena suddenly shouted " hey Jacob, don't sit alone. Come over to us.!!"
I hope Verena saw that angry face i gave her, because I really wasn't in the mood to have Jacob next to me ...

So he came up to us and it started again. The feeling I couldn't describe was there again.
He sat next to me and introduced himself to Mark. They were already making jokes like they have known each other since ages.

I was pretty shy and quiet and just ate my apple. Everyone knows, that I'm usually never quit so Mark asked me what was wrong and I just told him that I wasn't feeling so good. And he believed me.

Jacob told us where he was from and stuff like that, but I barely listened to what he said.
The only thing I could clearly hear was " hey Julia, I have English with you the next period . Wanna go to the classroom together ?"

Omg. He asked me ?! And he still knew my name ?!!? I honestly wasn't sure what I should answer, but a rally nice "yeah, why not?" Came out of my mouth. Instantly I bit my lip.

"Than, let's go ☺️" he said and started laughing.
