Bitter-Sweet Stare (5/11/2015)
We lock eyes
Sometimes,
And no words
Are shared.
Do you find me
So beautiful,
That tearing your gaze away
Would be painful?
As amazing as I find you,
It makes such bitter-sweet sense
That I cannot stop
Shooting up with your smile.
But your eyes-
Your moonshine eyes-
Do not speak in a language
That I can read.
I cannot speak to you
In this way,
Though this is
So safe.
Your eyes
Don't
Leave
Mine.
Down the Hall (5/11/2015)
I do not know
How you feel about me-
"Us"-
Yet I've heard so much
From everyone else
But you.
Stare at me
From down the hall
For a moment longer,
Then
Disappear-
And break our lock.
About Me (5/11/2015)
How blind am I
To be going so
Unnoticing
Of your soft emotions,
Deep yet hard.
I cannot breathe
Near you,
Because I need you
To feel the way you do
About me.
