Chapter 14 - {The Cup Song}

(A/N: I know Boot camp is like 3 days but here it's only one day kay? Thanks)

Alex's POV

It was time for boot camp to be honest I'm terrified! What if I don't make it! I brought Ariana with me but this time I also brought Josh, Jake and Jai.  

We had to sing a song against another person in our age group. Basically a sing-off. My age group was 16-18 year olds.  

I sang against this other girl named Nicole. We sang the song "Together" by Demi Lovato and she was amazing! I think even better than me!  

She was 16 and she had long blonde straight hair. She was short and skinny with glasses but she was super pretty! But she was also a bitch.  

After we sang our song I went backstage to tell her what an amazing job she did but instead she basically told me off.

* EARLIER *

"Hey Nicole! You were amazing out there!" I told her. She looked at me and smirked  

"Oh please! Just shut your mouth! Just because your "The Liam Payne"'s daughter doesn't mean you're going to win this competition. I will take you down! I feel bad for your dad! He has an ugly tramp as a daughter!" she laughed and turned around and continued to do her make up.  

Well that was harsh! I just turned around and left.

* PRESENT TIME *

It was finally time to see who will go on to Judges House! I am terrified but I'm scared Nicole will get through too. Mostly because if me and her get through I know she is going to cause problems. As I was thinking I heard Demi start calling names.  

Only 6 people will be called and then only 4 people will go through to the live shows.

"Tristan James, Mason Sulkin, Miles Hollingsworth, Winston Chu, Brooke Rivera, and Alexandra Payne."

As I heard my name called I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I made it through! I'm going to the judge's house! I was super happy! Plus Nicole didn't make it thorough. That makes me even happier.

As we ran off stage I was greeted by Jake giving me hug followed by Josh, Jai and Ariana.  

"Oh my gosh! You're going on to judge's house! I knew you could do it!" said Ari.

"I know!! I just don't know if I can keep lying to my parents. Oh my gosh it's Monday. We're supposed to be in school!" I said freaking out.

"Seriously Alex. You just got through judge's house and your freaking out because we didn't go to school." Said Josh.  

"Yes!! They are going to call our parents because we didn't show up to school and then my dad is going to question me and oh my gosh!!"

"Alex! Stop freaking out! We called Mr. Thomas and he agreed to cover us. He is going to "call" our parents! So stop freaking out!" said Jai. 

"Seriously!? Thank you guys! Well we better get going, we have to go back to Josh's house!"  

"Wait! Why my house!?" said Josh.

"Because I love your house!" I smiled and went outside to Josh's car.

Ariana and Jai decided to go pick up Chinese food so Jake and I went with Josh to his house. We were talking in the car when Jake asked me  

"Hey Alex, what happens if you make it to the live shows? Like are you going to tell your mom and dad? Are you going to forget about us?"  

"If I make it to the live shows then of course I have to tell my parents and hell no! I will never forget about you guys! I love you all way too much to forget about you!"  

"Sorry! It's just that you'll probably become famous like your dad and we will never get to see you!" said Jake.

"I promise that if I ever become famous I will still remember you and we'll keep in touch! Plus you guys can come visit me!" I said.  

We arrived at Josh's house and it's huge. Sort of like ours but a little bigger.  

I went straight to the kitchen to get a water and some grapes. I'm so hungry even though Jai and Ariana will be here anytime soon with our food.  

Just then Jai walks in with 6 bags of food while Ariana walks in on her phone. Oh Ariana!  

"Thanks for helping babe!" said Jai sarcastically.  

"You're welcome!" she said smiling.

We laughed and started eating our food while watching Pitch Perfect. 

Fat Amy is fucking hilarious! After the movie finished I decided to do the cup song. After many tries I just gave uo and decided to go home since tomorrow I have school.

"Hey Josh can I borrow one of your cars so I can get home?"  

"Sure! Here are the keys to the White Range Rover. I'll tell Jake to drop me off tomorrow at your house in the morning so I can get it back. Goodnight! Love you!" he said giving me the keys and a hug. 

I said goodnight to everybody else and left in Josh's car. When I got home I went up to my room and decided to take a shower. After I was done showering I put on my One Direction onsie and went to bed. Tomorrow was going to be a long ass day. And then on Saturday I have judge's house. I wonder who our mentor is?
