I mean Josh was cute and so was Jake but Josh was more like my brother. Jake was cute but I honestly don't know. They both mean so much to me that I don't want to risk our friendship by dating either of them.  

"I don't know? I mean they are my friends and I care about them way too much to even start a relationship with either of them."  

"Honestly I think Jake has a crush on you." Ari said while looking at her phone and driving.  

This bitch gonna get us killed! I laughed at my own joke before talking again.  

"Why do you think that?"  

"Have you seen the way he looks at you? He also cares about you a lot! Like when you were dating Matt, Jake was always jealous because he wished that was him and when Matt cheated on you, Jake kicked his ass!"  

I laughed at the thought.  

It was about a year ago when Matt cheated on me with Katie. But here is the thing. Katie didn't know I was dating Matt because he was playing both of us. Until one day I caught him kissing Katie at Josh's party and that's when everything went south. After that I cried for days and one day they all came over and Jake's knuckles were swollen and I asked him what happened and he said nothing.

Later Josh told me he beat the shit out of Matt. When he told me I honestly didn't feel bad for him. That manwhore deserved it. And no, my parents didn't know I was dating Matt because if they did my uncles would all gang up on him plus my dad is overprotective. I mean I love the guy but come on! I'm 16! And yes, I'm still "innocent". I want to wait for that someone special. Wow. That sounds so cheesy. Oh well!

I don't give a fuck what people think about me anymore. I used to love pleasing people so I would change my style and everything just to keep them happy. But now I learned I have to be happy with what I got!  

"Hello! Alex!" Ari said as she snapped me out of my thoughts.  

"Oh um what?" I said.  

"I said we're already here" she said laughing.  

"Oh sorry, I was just..... thinking" I said.  

"It must have been something important because we have been here for 15 minutes"  

I laughed and we got out of the car.  

I saw Josh's black Camaro and knew they were already here waiting for us. Josh's parents are pretty rich. His dad is an actor and his mom is a model. His parents looked pretty young, even though they were around there late thirties. 

Jake's parents are rich too. Jake's dad is Justin Bieber's manager and Jake's mom is the new CEO of Chanel.  

Jai and Ariana's families are normal and I that's why I love them. When I want to escape my crazy life I always go to them.  

"Well look who finally decided to show up!" said Josh as we entered McDonalds.  

"Sorry! Alex was 'thinking' of something 'important'." Ariana said. 

"Ok! You are horrible at sarcasm!" I said while laughing.  

I gave Josh and Jai a hug but skipped Jake on purpose to see how he'll react.  

"Uh hey? I still exist you know? What about me!?" said Jake pretending to look hurt.  

"I'm just kidding!" I said while giving him a hug but this time I felt different.  

I felt butterflies in my stomach. Oh no no no!! I can't fall for my best friend!

That's just wrong!
