Alex's POV
I woke up and saw it was 11:45. I looked around but saw no sign of my mom. I went upstairs to her room but nothing. She wasn't in the bathroom either. I checked the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge.

Got called to rehearsals early. I'll be back at 3:30

Well then I guess I'm alone. I decided to get some Captain Crunch cereal and a banana. When I finished eating I went up to my room and decided to finally do that YouTube video I was talking about yesterday. I looked for some songs on my phone and finally decided to sing Lightweight by Demi Lovato. I placed my laptop in front of me and played the song.

As soon as I finished singing I uploaded the video on my YouTube channel. In a matter of minutes I already had 55,000 views! I decided.to share it on Twitter.

I got off Twitter and went downstairs to grab a Vitamin Water from the fridge. As I was drinking my water, I heard a knock on the door and wondered who it was. I checked the peephole and saw Mrs.Parker there. Mrs.Parker was my babysitter when I was little. I loved her to death! I quickly opened the door.
"Mrs.Parker!" I screamed as I hugged her.
"Ahh Alex!! You are all grown up! And more beautiful then I remember." she said. I always blushed when someone complimented me. I saw she had cupcakes in her hand.
"These are for you and your mum my dear." she said as she handed me the box.
"Aww thank you so much!!" I said as I took the box. It had my favorite kind. Red Velvet.
"Well I have to get going but I hope to see you soon! Bye Alexandra!" she said as she gave me a hug and left.
I went upstairs and decided to check Twitter. I was looking through tweets. Some nice, some not so nice. I really didn't want my dad or uncles looking at the video. As I was scrolling through Twitter and RT'ing some nice comments I remembered sonething Mr.Thomas told me.
About auditioning for X-Factor. As I was thinking about it I decided why not! But I don't plan on telling my dad, uncles, or anybody but Ariana, Jake, Josh and Jai. Wow! All my guy friends' name start with J. I went online and printed out the application. I saw I had until this Friday to turn in the form. The audition was in 2 months and 5 days. I texted Ariana to ask her for an opinion.

I looked at the form and filled it out. Then I faxed it to the X-Factor studios. Honestly I was nervous how this would turn out. I just hope its for the best.
