Prepare For Takeoff (Leo POV)

Remember when I said that I could finish the Argo II in a day? Well... That was until I fed Festus motor oil with a little too much Tabasco sauce and long story short, he burped and set part of the Argo II on fire.

When I first saw it I shrieked. The flames licked the mast and turned the sails to ash. I tried to stop it, but I was only fireproof, I couldn't control fire.

"No no no no.." I muttered. I ran around looking for a fire extinguisher. I searched high and low. On the desks, under the machiens and realized that I never put one in Bunker Nine. I just assumed that in case of a fire I'd be fine. Good job Leo. I thought. Yep, I really made the most amateur move ever, and now the half the ship was either fine, charred, or in a pile on the ground.

I swallows hard. It's not that I was working on the Argo for the past few months, it's that it takes a few months to build it. And that's with help from my siblings. Unless.. Oh Leo you are a genius! I suddenly had a brilliant and imp-like solution.

I bolted out of the bunker faster than the Flash to get my main pals. Amelia was working on decorating her cabin. It was incredible. Annabeth's design was fit for a God. Ha ha, exactly! Amelia was concentrating hard, making things appear, which was very cool. Big, fluffy covers came out of thin air on her bed. She has beautiful curtains all around her bed and the windows. A thick blue carpet covered the whole of the floor. And she painted the wall too. Having cold metal walls didn't sound very homey, but they were decorated with what I assumed were her favorite memories.
Her just before she was 'teleported' by the gods, her and Georgia at I think is a mall, her claiming. There aren't many, but they were expertly painted.

"Meels, who painted these?" I asked. She turned around with paint plastered on her face and hair. I let a chuckle slip.

"Lets just say that it is really hard creating things through my 'godly powers' and Meels? Like aMELia? Really?" She asked. I shrugged. "I like it."

"So," I clapped my hands together. "I need some help with the Argo, care to help me?"

"Finishing touches? Sure." I took a sharp breath.

"He he... Not quite. Half of it kinda burnt down.." I said.

"WHAT" she screamed. For some reason a pineapple came out of nowhere and smashed into my head. Followed by a tomato, a bag of ground meat, corn, and a wet head of lettuce. Did she want me to make a taco?

"What was that? Did you busy pull a Piper." she looked at me weird. She obviously didn't know about the old Cornucopia. "Well in my defense... It was Festus." she sighed angrily. Amelia took me by the wrist and dragged me to get help. And when I say dragged, she litteraly used pure force to make me move. At first I resisted, but I ended up with scratches and bruises. I tried to sit down and was then it was as if Amelia was pulling a sled. So I decided it was best to stay standing.

She recruited Annabeth, our siblings, and the rest of the seven. Unluckily for me, all she said was "Leo screwed up big time". But it was Festus I whined in my head.

Amelia took off to the bunker where the destroyed masterpiece laid. Long story short, I was hit many times.

But when I opened the door, I knew I was a gonner.

"WHAT DID YOU DO LEO?" shouted Annabeth while she punched my shoulder. A few of my cabinmates followed her lead and those who had worked the hardest on it stared at the wreck in disbelief.

"All I did was give Festus extra spicy motor oil." I said as innocently as I could. Which was a big mistake. Annabeth paced around to fast she made me stressed.

"Leo, Leo. You had NO fire extinguisher, no way to put out a fire and above all which makes me the most mad is,YOU LET A FREAKING DRAGON NEAR A WOODDEN BOAT!!" She screamed. Now that she put it that way, I could see why she was so mad.

"So now what?"asked Percy.

Annabeth thought for a minute, comming up with another idea. "Hephaestus cabin, can you build a yacht?" Percy stirred uncomfortably beside me. I've heard all the stories about Percy's great adventures before I came, I heard about Luke.

I took charge and said "Of course we can. It'll take a few hours to design it and a few days to build."

"The lower deck is matinence, a fairly large boy and girl quarters. The rest is up to you but we must have bathrooms and weapons. Oh, and you have two days." Annabeth whiped her hair and stormed out. The Seven looked at me as if to say she sure out you in your place.

My siblings and I started to work on the, design for the boat. It wouldn't be as awesome as the Argo II, but with a few modifications... Anyway, Amelia soon became uninterested in the plans and said to call her if they wanted any metal to be moved.

The rest of the day was in between boring or tiring. I worked for FIVE straight hours. The only reason I was still alive was because Amelia created the frame. When dinner rolled around I was on the verge of collapse.
I quickly ate my plate and played around with my fork, pondering the ship when I realized something. I yelped and shot straight out of my seat.

"Leo?" asked Chiron. I had no time to explain. How could I miss that? It was the most basic thing ever. I forgot to make a way to move it. I was so stressed my insides were like pudding falling out of a bowl. When I got there I just flat out gave up.

From working overtime I made a little sleeping or rest area. I zombied my way over to a bed with red sheets and collapsed into oblivion.
